In a strike-shortened 2011-12 NBA Season, the Denver Nuggets finished second in the Northwest Division and 6th in their Conference. They lost in an excruciating 7-game series to the L.A. Lakers in the first round of the playoffs to get eliminated. However, this is a new, full season, and it promises to be good for the Nuggets to prove they are capable of a deep playoff run. I don't like basketball as much as I do baseball/football, still follow it though. I've been to a few Knicks games, but went to a Nuggets game last year. They sucked  , but they are pretty good in this game

2012-13 NBA Season Opener On the road to start the season, the Nuggets came out of the locker room with a strong second half performance to take one from the 76ers in Philadelphia. The high scorers for Denver were guards Andre Iguodala and Ty Lawson, who scored 29 and 22 points respectively. However, the Nuggets could only muster 31 points in the first half, struggling with shot accuracy. Head Coach George Karl gave a great speech during halftime, and Denver executed the coach's plans, scoring 48 in the second half to walk away with the 79-66 victory. Karl even made an interesting move later in the game, moving Iguodala to PG, away from his usual position of SG. It paid off tremendously, as Andre made 12 of 16 FG attempts, and made all 5 of his three point attempts. He was the player of the game, as the Nuggets improved to 1-0.
