David Bailey is 17 years old ( will turn 18 on July 13th.) He is a star basketball player for his high school team, Detroit Cass Tech. He plays point guard, is 6"2, and 193 pounds. He has the most scholarships by any high school athlete. On the top of his list are Duke, Sryacuse, and Kansas. All of the ESPN analysts say he could be as good as Michael Jordan when he gets to the NBA. |

Here we are on opening day as Boston College will take on Syracuse. Starting today are 2 freshmen for Syracuse, David Bailey and Tyler Ennis. David Bailey is looking great so far in warm-ups. Syracuse won the tip off, and now the game will begin... David Bailey was struggling in the first half as he only had 5 points as they were losing 20-15. Right after half time Bailey was on fire getting his team the lead. Now with 10 seconds left the game is tied up at 36. Bailey brings up the ball, they try to double team him... he gets away, 3,2,1, he lets the shot fly... IT'S GOOD, BAILEY WINS THE GAME FOR SYRACUSE, 39-36!!! press conference will be shown later |

David Bailey: I thought we could have played better but we ended up with the w, now i will take questions. Man in the front: What was going through your mind when you made the last second shot? David Bailey: It was crazy and I was just happy to win us the game. Man in the back: Was there a play that was meant for you to take the shot? David Bailey: There was no play so the play just came naturally. David answered more questions and his first press conference was over |

#12 Duke @ #19 Syracuse In the first half Duke completely out played Syracuse in the first 5 minutes as they had a 17-4 lead, but somehow Bailey connect for 3 straight 3's to make it 17-13. At half the score was 29-24. Syracuse ended up being to much for Jabari Parker and Duke as Syracuse won 64-58 as David Bailey ended with 41 points. |

13 Winthrop vs 4 Syracuse In this game Winthrop didn't even deserve to be in the same stadium with Syracuse! Every possession it was a fast break dunk. David Bailey and Tyler Ennis both picked up 21 points as Syracuse got the win 102-55. |

#5 Florida vs #4 Syracuse It was back and fourth down the stretch. Florida made it a 10 point game with 2:30 left in the game. Somehow Syracuse makes it a tie right before the end of the game. The game would eventually go to overtime and David Bailey came in the clutch hitting a 3 to take a 1 point lead with 5 seconds left. Syracuse would end up winning the game 83-82, while David Bailey scored 50 points. |
