Yes I'm copying dtigers and making a Backyard Football Log, using the 2002 version. I'll also be copying his fantasy scoring format because it seems to work well. ![]() ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Ornery Orcas come into the season looking to make a splash in the Backyard Football League. Their incredibly talented coach did a superb job of drafting a solid, all-around team and says his goal this year is to win the Cereal Bowl. The Orcas will be competing in the Frontyard West division, along with the Rams, Panthers, and Falcons. Ornery Orcas Roster QB/LB: Tony Delvecchio- This confident, vocal quarterback was the 1st round pick for the Orcas. He's expected to lead the team offensively, and his comforting presence will be felt on defense as well with him at linebacker. He's got a cannon for an arm, but doesn't always make the best decisions with it and is prone to turnovers. RB: Napoleon Dynamite- The 7th round pick by the Orcas is definitely a sleeper pick, but the kid has potential. He's got decent hands and some speed as well, and may be able to make some noise out of the backfield. Look for him to improve this year and surprise some people. DL/C: Dmitri Petrovich- Simply put, Dmitri is a tank. He can't be blocked for long and will be disrupting opposing offenses all year long. Expect a high sack total out of this red-headed genius. Dmitri was a potential steal in the 4th round of the draft. WR: Ernie Steele- Taken in the 2nd round, Ernie will probably be Tony's favorite target at wide receiver. A tall, lanky kid with good hands and okay speed, he has a knack for getting open and coming down with the ball. The only knock on him is that he doesn't always take the game seriously and isn't a great defender. WR/S: Stephanie Morgan- The Orcas 3rd round pick was also on a wide receiver, this time taking a female. Stephanie is a small target who uses her speed to get open. She is a valuable defender, and makes a good safety with her smart play and speed. K/CB: Ricky Johnson- Ricky is similar to Ernie in height and personality, but the similarities end there. Ricky is quick, but doesn't have great hands. However, his size and speed give him a huge advantage at cornerback, where he will be playing on defense. He will also be doing the kicking for the Orcas, due to his strong leg. Ricky was drafted in round 5. CB: Amir Khan- Amir was drafted sort of as an afterthought in the 6th round, and not much is expected out of him... He only sees the field on defense, and does a fair job, but just doesn't see enough action to make a fantasy impact. Schedule Week 1: @ Rams Week 2: vs. Falcons Week 3: @ Panthers Week 4: vs. Eagles Week 5: vs. Lions Week 6: vs. Ponies Week 7: vs. Steelers Week 8: @ Seahawks Week 9: @ Vikings Week 10: @ Packers Week 11: @ Giants Week 12: vs. Panthers Week 13: vs. Rams Week 14: @ Falcons Agents 1. detroittigers15- Napoleon Dynamite(RB) 2. This sounds interesting. I think I only have the 2006 version of backyard football. I'd like to be an agent, please. |
