June 30, 2014
I was sitting at home. Sitting. Waiting. Sitting. Waiting. It felt like forever. Today decided who the new offensive coordinator of the Yale Bulldogs will be. They were just moved up to FBS/Division 1 along with the Harvard Crimson and will be independent teams. The old offensive coordinator had a heart attack and died so they are looking for a new coordinator. The phone rang and i fumbled with it as i knew this would be one of my last chances to get a job in football.

"Hello?" I said
"Hey Jason about the offensive coordinator job at Yale... you got the job man, welcome to the Bulldog family."
"Thanks man this is an honor." i said
"Just get to the university in a week so you can have your press conference and then you will need to take a look at the team roster and make the teams first FBS schedule."
"Thanks again, bye" i said

Today Jason Green becomes the offensive coordinator of the Yale Bulldogs.

PRESS CONFERENCE

"Hello, first I would like to say thank you for coming and thank you to the University of Yale for giving me an opportunity to help Yale's football team become better. Now I will answer some questions." I said.

"What offense will you try to run this season?"

"I like to run a spread offense, but I might also run a little pistol offense as well." I said.

"What positions do you think you need to upgrade in the next few years to make your team stronger?"

"I think I will work on the O-Line because there are mostly seniors and freshmen, but I don't really need to explain why that will be a factor."

"You have a QB battle between a junior and a sophomore, how will you decide who will be the starter?"

"Uh... that question is something I will not answer because you should all ready know that answer  ."

"Thank you for your time. I have to go know see you later." I said.

Maybe add some color and add the teams' records.

Maybe take a few pointers from mine, although I would start with the scoring summary. Also some color would be good too.

"annalists" is possibly the most humorous misspelling I've seen all year

as far as updates, there's no substance whatsoever. it's just like, "here's the score and a few stats." you have to guess what happened as far as things like who scored the go-ahead TD or how some of those points were even scored.
