5 interceptions! That's more impressive than 6 touchdowns!

California State Championship vs. South San Francisco
"Alright boys! This is it! This is our chance for six straight state titles! We are the best in America, and we are the best in the universe! Show those damned bastards from San Fran why LA is so *(censored)* superior! We will pick each other up! Help each other up the hill!" Coach motivated us.

"Hey, Evan! I hope you do really good tonight! The whole town is watching! I love you!" My girlfriend Jenna said.

The nerves settled in. It was my first championship game as a starter. We were hyped for this! This was our moment!

South San Francisco 7-3-7-7
Los Angeles 14-28-21-0

Final:
SSFHS 24
LAHS 63

Passing:
Ross 21-26, 641 YDS, 9 TDS, 1 INT
20 Rushing YDS

We had done it! We were 6 time state champions! It was the best feeling ever! I was congratulated by everyone I knew, and even people I don't know. It was a big decision for me. I needed to pick a college to go to.

The day was here. It was time to choose a college. My choices:
-Alabama 2nd String
-Arkansas 3rd String
-Stanford 1st String
-Boise State 2nd String
-North Carolina 2nd String
-Iowa 2nd String
-California 3rd String
-Arizona 1st String
-UCLA 3rd String
-San Jose State 1st String

It was a tough choice. I needed to narrow it down to three by signing day.
-UCLA
-Stanford
-Arizona

I decided that I didn't want to sit on the bench, and that rules out UCLA. But, I've always dreamed of playing for them. I'd start right away with Stanford, and get a great education, but I'd betray my city. Arizona is a great party school, but nothing else besides that. I narrowed it down to UCLA and Stanford. I needed advice. I consulted my coach.
"Coach, you know me better than my own parents. What school should I choose, UCLA or Stanford?
"Evan, I can't decide for you, but I know you want to start right away. Stanford is the way to go. You'll get a great education, and have a great future. I know you love the Bruins, but it's your best choice to go to Stanford.
"Thanks coach."

I wanted more advice, so I consulted my girlfriend.
"Jenna, you understand what I'm going through. Tell me, UCLA or Stanford?
"Baby, you know you love UCLA. That's where you dreamed of going since we were on first grade. I'm going there. We can still be together if you go to UCLA. You've never lived outside of Los Angeles, it would be hard for you to adjust. Follow your dreams and be what you want to be."
"Thanks baby" I said, kissing her.

I was put in a terrible spot. I was conflicted. I was forced to decide. I decided to go to UCLA.

Since I'm not starting, I'll make this log more of a story.

After the 1st practice, coach was impressed. He told me a lot more work was needed, but I was making my way towards being the starter. We beat Rice 27-14 in Week 1. Oh, I forgot to mention, whenever the Bruins win, there's a party at the most prestigious fraternity. So my girlfriend and I went, got extremely wasted for the first time on campus, and then did you-know-what. There was some weed at the party, but I didn't want to get hooked on that shit. Go Bruins!

During practice, I dominated the defense. My coach said I was ready to challenge the 2nd string. We beat #18 Nebraska 33-28. Time to turn up! I got really drunk, but this time there was no weed. I'll admit it that I kinda wanted to try it. 2-0 baby!!!

The position battle was today. The backup gave me evil looks all day during classes. I was ready to win that second spot. I easily won the battle. I'm now the backup!
We beat Houston 27-0! The Bruins are now 3-0!!

In practice, I again impressed. Our QB is struggling, and next week I'll challenge for the starting spot. We lost our first game to Oregon State 38-28.

I easily won the position battle! That was quick! I'm now the starter. My first game was against Colorado.

Colorado 0-7-3-16
UCLA 13-14-7-7

Final:
UCLA 41
Colorado 26

Passing:
17-22, 411 YDS, 4 TD
Rushing:
-42 YDS

My first game was awesome. I threw for 411 yards and 4 touchdowns! I was the life of the party on Sunday. I got really drunk and really hype. I was ready for the rivalry against California.

Week 6: The Rivalry

UCLA 7-0-0-15
California 7-14-17-0

Final:
UCLA 22
Cal 38

Passing:
17-25, 255 YDS, 3 TD, 2 INT
Rushing:
-58 YDS

Our team sucks right now. No blocking, no defense, no receivers that can catch in coverage. I'm surprised I threw for 255 and 3 touchdowns. We dropped an important game.

Week 7

Utah 0-14-14-21
UCLA 14-28-7-14

Final:
Utah 49
UCLA 63

Passing:
18-21, 370 YDS, 5 TD, INT
Rushing:
-21 YDS

It was a great bounce-back game for us. The line blocked this time, but the d struggled again. There was a party, but I didn't go this time. The move paid off, as everyone was arrested and suspended. The players there were suspended for the next game. Next week was the bye week, so it's gonna be a relaxing week.

Week 9

UCLA 7-7-6-8
Arizona State 7-0-7-7

Final:
UCLA 28
ASU 21

Passing:
18-30, 332 YDS, 4 TD, 3 INT

Rushing:
-6 YDS

It was another big win for us! Bowl eligible baby! Bruins are 6-2! There was another illegal party, and it got busted again. Our defensive stars were suspended for the game vs. Arizona. It would be a tough test.

Final:
ARI 35

Passing:
18-33, 397 YDS, 3 TD, 4 INT

It was another poor performance by us as we fall to 6-3 on the season. We made a valiant effort in the fourth, but my four picks killed us.
