MLBPPWORLD FANTASY WEEK 5 RECAP

Jakku Scavengers (GoTwins24) 115.5
Team Griffith (Jag123jg) 106

Summary:
Leonard Fournette's garbage time 90-yard touchdown propelled the Scavengers to a 5th consecutive victory. Cam Newton's second straight 20+ outing solidified the Scavengers' lineup, as well as a 20-point performance by Antonio Brown. Team Griffith had another strong week, anchored by Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams. Jordan Howard and Delanie Walker both scored touchdowns that were called back due to penalties. If the plays stood, Team Griffith would have pulled off the upset.

You've Been Juiced! (LGM77) 102
Detroit Phantoms (Dtigers) 69.5

Summary:
Despite not starting a tight end, You've Been Juiced won in a blowout. Deshaun Watson is looking like a huge pickup, dropping 35 points Sunday Night. Costing You've Been Juiced! is the season ending injury suffered by Odell Beckham Jr. They may be looking to the waiver wire to pick up another receiver. Meanwhile, the Phantoms received double-digit performances from only 3 starters: Carson Palmer, Doug Martin, and Travis Kelce.

[Insert NFL pun here] (Queso James) 59.5
Tom Brady's PSI-duck (Dishnet34) 86.5

Summary:
It was a bounceback win for Tom Brady's PSI-duck, who put together a solid team win, despite not having any players scoring 15 points or more. PSI-duck had 5 players in double figures, providing enough points to win. [Insert NFL pun here] had some bye week misfortunes, as Mohamed Sanu, Michael Thomas, and Jordan Reed were all on bye. Only 3 [Insert NFL pun here] players scored in double figures, with Jameis Winston leading the way with 17.

Atomic Pickles (AgentP) 103
TD Gobblers (BrewersFuzz) 76.5

Summary:
The Atomic Pickles were rewarded for their first 100-point performance with a first win. In fact, only 2 starters failed to score double digits (Evan Engram and the Texans defense). Javorius Allen had his second 15+ point game of the season, scoring 16 points. This is an encouraging result for the no longer winless Pickles. The Gobblers lost their 3rd consecutive game after an impressive 2-0 start. Dak Prescott scored 29 points, but no one else could pick up the slack needed to deliver a win.

Los Angeles Aodgers (KFPC) 108.5
The 2016-2017 Champ (Prediction) 108

Summary:
The defending champion nearly pulled off the upset off the season in this week's game of the week thanks to 25-point outings from Deandre Hopkins and Alex Smith. Unfortunately for the defending champion, the Patriots defense could only muster 1 point against Tampa Bay. The Aodgers were bolstered by 25+ point outings from Carson Wentz, Michael Crabtree, and A.J. Green, who made up for Todd Gurley's struggles. The Aodgers remain unbeaten.

Cool Brees (ZeroGibson13) 97.5
Nick N00ns (PhilliesFan134) 103

Summary:
Despite leading the power rankings, Cool Brees suffered more bad luck, losing their third game. This can most likely be attributed to bye week blues, as Drew Brees, Devonta Freeman, and Alvin Kamara were all on bye. Jacoby Brissett had a nice fill-in game, scoring 17 points. If Kareem Hunt found the end zone, Cool Brees would have gotten the W. Nick N00ns was carried by Melvin Gordon's dual threat 30-point outing, as well as a strong game from Will Fuller V. A bounceback outing from the Ravens defense sealed Nick N00ns' 4th win of the season.
