BOM TRADY ENTERS LEAGUE 20 year old rookie quarterback, Bom Trady, has been drafted number 1 overall by the Dallas Cowboys. The 6 foot 4, 234 pocket passer will have to fight Tony Romo for his job. UW-Lacrosse has produced a fine player out of their football program. His first challenge will be preseason week 1 against the Chargers. |

TRADY PLAYS IN PRESEASON GAME 1 In 3 1/2 quarters of action Bom Trady leads the Cowboys into a 44- 38 overtime victory. With a 105.8 QBR Tradde went 24 - 46 with 4 TD's and an interception. The touchdowns were a 2nd quarter 23 yard pass to Escobar, a 3rd quarter 53 yard pass to Bryant, an 11 yarder to Butler, and an overtime 51 yard pass to Mayle. In other news HB Lance Dunbar is out for the season. |

TRADY STARTS A RUNNING GAME Bom Trady in a 27 - 24 win over the 49ers, had a 111.6 QBR. Trady went 16 - 24, with 183 yards and 3 TD's, while throwing one pick six. Trady also ran 7 times for 32 yards. Trady threw TD's to Escobar on a 10 yard pass, Street on a 15 yard pass, and Escobar again on a 16 yard pass. The cowboys also had a good running game, with Turban getting 65 yards on the ground. |
