Week One vs Panthers Blake Bortles was picked off 3 times, including the game-losing pick-six in the 4th quarter as the Jags dropped their opening day game to the Panthers, 20-9. The Jaguars looked good early on, taking a 9-3 lead into the second half, but Carolina woke up in the final 30 minutes to steal a win from Jacksonville. Coach Gus Bradley said that he was disappointed with Bortles' performance and that He will bench Bortles and start Chad Henne in next week's game against the Dolphins. Bradley also said that the team will switch to a more running-based offense next week.

Tdud123 wrote: What game is this? What do you think?Game Two vs Dolphins Chad Henne's revival was awful, as the QB tossed three picks and was benched in the 4th quarter. The Jaguars defense wasn't good either. The game itself was awful and the Jaguars lost 34-14 to drop themselves to 0-2 on the season, and eliminate them from playoff contention. After the game, Bradley announced that Bortles would start next week against the Patriots (should be fun). The Jaguars released K Jason Myers after he missed a field goal and an extra point and signed K Shayne Graham to replace him. Jacksonville also waived TE Nic Jacobs and promoted QB Tim Tebow from the practice squad to the active roster.

Good job, promoting Tim Tebow. But you already have the worst QBs. |

Week 3 @ New England *(censored)* everything, my life has no meaning. If I told you that the Jags would play the Pats close you would have laughed at me. But we had two chances at the end to try and tie it up, and they both failed. After the two minute warning we run the ball on 4th and two, and pick up only one yard. Then we stop them and get the ball back. 4th and 18, Bortles throws to Julius Thomas deep over the middle. He has the catch, but Madden says no and makes him get sandwiched by some New England guy, causing him to drop the ball. *(censored)* everything, we should have won this game. On to Indianapolis, yay!
