Cowboys vs. Giants - Giants (Sans Witten, the Cowboys only have Dez and Murray)
Bears vs. Colts - Bears (Luck needs time to get acclimated & their running game sucks)
Falcons vs. Chiefs - Falcons (Matt Ryan > Matt Cassel)
Eagles vs. Browns - Eagles (Dream team, no, but good? Yes.)
Saints vs. Redskins - Redskins (RG3 > suspended players)
Lions vs. Rams - Lions (This won't be pretty)
Patriots vs. Titans - Patriots (Brady may very well throw for 500)
Jaguars vs. Vikings - Jaguars (Without Simpson, Vikings can only run the ball)
Jets vs. Bills - Bills (QB controversy leads to issues in close loss)
Texans vs. Dolphins - Texans (Schaub+Foster+Johnson+Daniels=success)
Seahawks vs. Cardinals - Seahawks (This is almost like Royals-Twins or something...)
Packers vs. 49ers - Packers (Why is this not in prime time?!?)
Panthers vs. Buccaneers - Buccaneers (SI likes them, so yeah)
Steelers vs. Broncos - Broncos (Peyton is one of the greatest QBs of all time. Roethlisberger isn't.)
Ravens vs. Bengals - Ravens (Dalton did well last year, but the Ravens are good on D and good on O)
Raiders vs. Chargers - Chargers (McFadden injures himself in 1st quarter, returns in Week 12)

Cowboys @ Giants: Giants (I'm only cheering for Eli because he's on my fantasy team. The rest of these guys can go screw off. :P)
Dolphins @ Texans: Texans (Arian Foster is an awesome guy. He writes poetry, is quite intelligent and well-spoken, and oh yeah, is maybe the best back in the league.)
Patriots @ Titans: Patriots (Ugh.)
Rams @ Lions: Lions (This won't even be close, I don't think... Finnegan vs. Johnson will be a great matchup though.)
Redskins @ Saints: Saints (This should be a really interesting game... but not necessarily a close one. I expect something like 31-17.)
Eagles @ Browns: Eagles (Nmandi Asomugha will make Brandon Weeden cry.)
Falcons @ Chiefs: Chiefs (Matty Ice is gonna light up the scoreboard here, I expect.)
Bills @ Jets: Bills (Dunno how much of an upset pick this might be, but Mario Williams will wreak havoc and Ryan Fitzpatrick might finally put it together for a whole season.)
Jaguars @ Vikings: Jaguars (This week's Toilet Bowl. I wouldn't watch- okay, I would for 5 dollars, but it would be painful.)
Colts @ Bears: Colts (Here's a good upset, perhaps. Luck looked poised in the preseason, and I don't see the Bears going very far this year.)
Seahawks @ Cardinals: Seahawks (This is how I view Arizona this season: http://cdn.memegenerator.net/instances/ ... 487212.jpg)
Panthers @ Buccaneers: Buccaneers (3rd best game of the week here. I see Tampa Bay making their hometown fans happy and Freeman to Jackson hitting it big... it'll be a close one, though.)
49ers @ Packers: 49ers (Game of the week, easily. Even Alex Smith can have a good game against their defense, and I can feel a Willis/Bowman field day coming on... not much of a slugfest I don't think.)
Steelers @ Broncos: Steelers (Pittsburgh marches into Denver, Isaac Redman runs over their defense, and in a low-scoring affair Pittsburgh makes Peyton's REAL debut in the Mile High City a sour one.)
Bengals @ Ravens: Ravens (2nd best game of the week, and a gritty one at that. Andy Dalton will play a slightly better game, but with the Ravens' defense that won't be enough. Ray Rice all day long.)
Chargers @ Raiders: Chargers (Philip Rivers. Enough said. Close game though.)

EDIT: You can put down a Tie, but if it doesn't end as a tie you get a loss.

As much as I like Asomugha, he didn't do too well last season and got beat some in the preseason also. Hopefully he proves me wrong, but he might make me end up regretting them trading Asante. (time for a mini Eagles rant. ;))

Both are ballhawks but we need a big hitter in the secondary (I'm sure Paul will agree with me on this.) They haven't had one since BDawk and (to a much smaller extent, Quintin Mikell). The secondary plays too soft, but the d-line could definitely make up for it.

The reason for Asomugha's failure to perform up to his contract last year was solely because of Juan Castillo playing him out of position.

BDawk. You know you are beloved in Philly when you still have three bill boards near the Walt Whitman bridge featuring you even though you left. Dawkins cannot be replaced. Talent wise, maybe, but if he was here last year he would have been like Michael is to Toby to the rest of the team times one thousand. He would have given them a ton of shit. The team had NO balls last year.

What was your point about the secondary again, phillies? :P

Quoted for truth. Asomugha should return to his underrated stardom this year being back at CB.
