MLBPPWORLD FANTASY FOOTBALL SEMIFINAL ROUND 2 RECAP
Chattini FC (Glassy) 299.16 One Man Revolution (GoTwins24) 260.12
Summary: Chattini clinched a title game appearance in their first season in the league thanks to a great performance. Josh Allen was their hero, scoring 10 total touchdowns and totalling an unbelievable 90 points in two weeks. With Allen's performances the past two weeks, Chattini FC had a strong backbone to work with. The rest of the team also stepped up this week, with no position players scoring under 10 points. Aaron Jones and Tee Higgins were the best non-Josh Allen players, each scoring 17. Breece Hall scored a late touchdown to rescue his week, and Courtland Sutton did the same thing. It was a tremendous team effort for Chattini, who now will face Teiyo Tomozawas in the finals. One Man Revolution was eliminated from the playoffs for the third straight season, falling victim to the #1 seed curse. Their week got off to an abysmal start as Cooper Kupp somehow scored no points. Chase Brown, Terry McLaurin, and Mark Andrews made things interesting in the noon window, but the afternoon window was a disaster for One Man Revolution. Kyler Murray, Saquon Barkley, and Jonathan Taylor combined for just 27. Jonathan Taylor made a horrible mistake, fumbling before scoring on an easy touchdown- signifying an awful fantasy week. One Man Revolution will look to finally have some playoff success in 2025.
Teiyo Tomozawas (MUFFINZ) 312.72 Mahomes on the Range (Lancer) 239.4
Summary: It was an incredible afternoon for the Tomozawas, who clinched their second finals appearance in three years. Davante Adams was the hero of the week, scoring 38 points in the second half. Adams has been a second half hero for the Tomozawas, who have ridden him to the finals. Mike Evans was also tremendous with 32 as he tries to continue his 1,000 yard streak. Jayden Daniels was also great with 23 points, and Rachaad White continued his positive momentum. Kansas City's defense feasted off Jameis Winston, making them a great pickup. The Tomozawas are a scary team, and if they can figure out a solution at flex-2 this week, they will continue to be scary. It was a tough end to the season for Mahomes on the Range. They got Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry back from bye- but only Lamar Jackson was good enough. Derrick Henry was a major letdown, scoring 6 in a weak matchup. Josh Jacobs and Keenan Allen continued their positive momentum, but Tucker Kraft, DK Metcalf, Christian Watson, and Darnell Mooney were non-factors. It was a great year for Mahomes on the Range, but they will now look to a playoff return in 2025.
