MLBPPWORLD FANTASY FOOTBALL SEMIFINAL ROUND 2 RECAP

Chattini FC (Glassy) 299.16
One Man Revolution (GoTwins24) 260.12

Summary:
Chattini clinched a title game appearance in their first season in the league thanks to a great performance. Josh Allen was their hero, scoring 10 total touchdowns and totalling an unbelievable 90 points in two weeks. With Allen's performances the past two weeks, Chattini FC had a strong backbone to work with. The rest of the team also stepped up this week, with no position players scoring under 10 points. Aaron Jones and Tee Higgins were the best non-Josh Allen players, each scoring 17. Breece Hall scored a late touchdown to rescue his week, and Courtland Sutton did the same thing. It was a tremendous team effort for Chattini, who now will face Teiyo Tomozawas in the finals. One Man Revolution was eliminated from the playoffs for the third straight season, falling victim to the #1 seed curse. Their week got off to an abysmal start as Cooper Kupp somehow scored no points. Chase Brown, Terry McLaurin, and Mark Andrews made things interesting in the noon window, but the afternoon window was a disaster for One Man Revolution. Kyler Murray, Saquon Barkley, and Jonathan Taylor combined for just 27. Jonathan Taylor made a horrible mistake, fumbling before scoring on an easy touchdown- signifying an awful fantasy week. One Man Revolution will look to finally have some playoff success in 2025.

Teiyo Tomozawas (MUFFINZ) 312.72
Mahomes on the Range (Lancer) 239.4

Summary:
It was an incredible afternoon for the Tomozawas, who clinched their second finals appearance in three years. Davante Adams was the hero of the week, scoring 38 points in the second half. Adams has been a second half hero for the Tomozawas, who have ridden him to the finals. Mike Evans was also tremendous with 32 as he tries to continue his 1,000 yard streak. Jayden Daniels was also great with 23 points, and Rachaad White continued his positive momentum. Kansas City's defense feasted off Jameis Winston, making them a great pickup. The Tomozawas are a scary team, and if they can figure out a solution at flex-2 this week, they will continue to be scary. It was a tough end to the season for Mahomes on the Range. They got Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry back from bye- but only Lamar Jackson was good enough. Derrick Henry was a major letdown, scoring 6 in a weak matchup. Josh Jacobs and Keenan Allen continued their positive momentum, but Tucker Kraft, DK Metcalf, Christian Watson, and Darnell Mooney were non-factors. It was a great year for Mahomes on the Range, but they will now look to a playoff return in 2025.

Consolation Ladder Scores:
Jahmyr Gibbs' Positional Value (Dishnet34) 244.2
Nick's No Autopicks (PhilliesFan134) 224.62

Goodells Security Team (BaseballTeen9500) 187.28
Atomic Pickles (AgentP) 231.3

North Pole Narwhals (AnthonyP) 239.3
Detroit Phantoms (DTigers115) 272.7

Wesley All Stars (Wesley) 216.68
Team Griffith (jag123jg) 173.52

Best of luck to the two Finals teams!

MLBPPWORLD FANTASY FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 1 RECAP

Chattini FC (Glassy) 99.46
Teiyo Tomozawas (MUFFINZ) 126.22

Summary:
The Tomozawas jumped out to a nice early lead after the first round with a strong performance. Jayden Daniels led the way with 34 points. Daniels was one of the best value picks of the draft, and the rookie has led the Tomozawas to the brink of a championship. Bijan Robinson was also a great pick, scoring 23 points this week after Kirk Cousins' benching. Davante Adams was also good with 16, although it was a dropoff from his semifinal performance. The rest of the team was okay, but Rachaad White and Mike Evans could have done more on Sunday Night. Rachaad White had a key late fumble, causing him to finish in only single digits. Sterling Shepard also disappointed with 3. Still, a 27-point advantage is a nice cushion to enter the final round. Chattini FC struggled this week mostly because of Josh Allen. After scoring 90 in the semis, Allen scored just 11 this week. As a result, Khalil Shakir was also brutal, scoring just 3. Brian Robinson was also a shocking letdown with just 1. Their leading scorer was Atlanta's defense, who saved them from disaster with 27 points. Tee Higgins was also solid with 15. Trey McBride also failed to reach the endzone again. Down 27, Chattini FC faces a signficant hill to climb. They will likely need Josh Allen to return to his semifinal form.

Consolation Ladder Scores:
One Man Revolution (GoTwins24) 160.08
Mahomes on the Range (Lancer) 144.18

Atomic Pickles (AgentP) 157.68
Jahmyr Gibbs' Positional Value (Dishnet34) 138.16

Detroit Phantoms (DTigers115) 143.88
Nick's No Autopicks (PhilliesFan134) 122.14

Wesley All Stars (Wesley) 77.54
Goodells Security Team (BaseballTeen9500) 80.02

Team Griffith (jag123jg) 86.14
North Pole Narwhals (AnthonyP) 95.4

Best of luck to the two championship teams in the last week of the season!

TEIYO TOMOZAWAS WIN THE 2024 MLBPPWORLD FANTASY CHAMPIONSHIP WITH A COMMANDING 283.3-234.84 VICTORY

Summary:
After two disappointing playoff losses in 2021 and 2022, the Tomozawas finally won their first fantasy title with a commanding win. Jayden Daniels was their primary league winner, scoring over 30 in both rounds of the championship. It was a solid team effort in the second round for the Tomozawas, as Mike Evans, Ladd McConkey, and Bijan Robinson shined with over 20. Davante Adams, Rachaad White, and George Pickens struggled, but the Tomozawas had more than enough cushion for the win. It was a great season for the Tomozawas, who have won their first title in the community. Congratulations to them! For Chattini FC, it was a disappointing championship round. Josh Allen scored 60 fewer points than he did in the semifinal round, which ultimately became the difference. Tee Higgins and Trey McBride made things interesting after combining for 60 Saturday, but the results Sunday were just not enough. Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson struggled in New York's blowout loss, and Chattini only received 2 combined points from their defense and kicker. Aaron Jones and Brian Robinson also underwhelmed. It was a disappointing loss, but they will seek redemption in 2025 and had a great season.

Consolation Ladder Scores:
One Man Revolution (GoTwins24) 310.02
Mahomes on the Range (Lancer) 234.7

Atomic Pickles (AgentP) 282.96
Jahmyr Gibbs' Positional Value (Dishnet34) 241.66

Goodells Security Team (BaseballTeen9500) 195

Team Griffith (jag123jg) 178.44
North Pole Narwhals (AnthonyP) 185.5

Final Standings:
1. Teiyo Tomozawas
2. Chattini FC
3. One Man Revolution

6. Jahmyr Gibbs' Positional Value
7. Detroit Phantoms
8. Nick's No Autopicks
9. Goodells Security Team
