Knowing the Mets, they'd still lose that trade

This one is funny because it implies that the Dodgers are the dumb ones, and not the Phillies

Why...? We don't need either of those guys

I was just thinking an upgrade at catcher. Wasn't really thinking when I added Descalso. Or Bradley.

Hundley isn't exactly a major upgrade over Hanigan

and that trade = less Brock Holt

Hundley is much better than Hanigan

Oh really now?

Hundley: 594 career games, 2118 plate appearances, 518 starts at catcher
Hanigan: 577 career games, 1970 plate appearances, 477 starts at catcher

Hundley: 8.5 career WAR, 90 career wRC+, 27.2 career CS%
Hanigan: 9.6 career WAR, 90 career wRC+, 37.3 career CS%

2014 Hundley: 0.3 WAR, 75 wRC+, 13.9 CS%
2014 Hanigan: 1.1 WAR, 92 wRC+, 21.1 CS%

I'm seeing a lot of evidence that Hanigan's actually been better than Hundley both a) over his career and b) recently whereas your point was, to quote directly, that "Hundley is much better than Hanigan"?
