Alright, so after witnessing the Sox sweep the Astros, I thought we should give our predictions for our favorite teams: their records, if they win the division or a wild card, how far they get in the playoffs (if they make it), and what players on their teams win an award. I'll start.

Boston Red Sox
Record: 95-67
AL East champs
Make it to ALCS
Will Middlebrooks wins AL Most Improved

Please, go find some wood, and knock on it. Repeatedly.

Why would Colon make a comeback? He played last year and did well.

Baltimore Orioles

Win AL wildcard
Adam Jones, Matt Wieters and Nick Markakis win gold gloves. Chris Davis makes all star team.
Win wild card game, lose in 5 games in ALCS.

Anthony, I could ask you, why would Middlebrooks win M.I.P.?

He sucked last year, and has improved his game greatly. Of course, I'm just making a wild guess.

That's where you're wrong. Last year he hit .288 with 15 homers and 54 RBI's in just 75 games. Through one month this year, he has a .200 average, 6 home runs, and 12 ribbies. So, when you turn those into full season numbers, his homers are up, while his average and RBI's are way down

Okay, I see your point. Who's your top candidate for M.I.P?

Matusz as MIP? He pitched great from the bullpen last year and is doing so this year as well, unless he goes into the rotation this year and does decent to good, I can't imagine him getting any recognition for MIP. Unless everyone is referring as a teams most improved player.
