Sapporo sneaks through in slugfest
In the first inning of this slugfest, Kitoaji drove in an RBI 1B to score the game's first run. In the bottom half of the first, the Fighters struck back with a 2-R 2B by Itoi, and an RBI 2B by Terrmel Sledge, who was a big threat to the Bears in this game. 3-1 Fighters. In the second, Kyoro Hakeyama smacked a RBI 2B and Kitoaji got another RBI single to tie it 3-3. In the top of the third, Gunderson hit a solo homer, his 4th of the year, to make it 4-3 Sapporo. In the bottom of the third, Sledge would rail a solo shot to tie it at 4-4. In the fourth, Gunderson answered with an RBI 1B, and Yamaguchi also drove an RBI single to make it 6-4. In the bottom of five, Hakeyama roped an RBI single to extend the lead to 7-4. In the fifth, Kijolto Rin came on to pitch for Sapporo after Redd went 4 full giving up 4 runs. In the top of the sixth, Tanimoto came into pitch for the Fighters. In the bottom of the seventh, Sledge would smash another 2-R HR to make it 7-6. In the eighth, Masui came on for the Fighters and gave up an RBI 2B to Gunderson to make it 8-6. In the bottom of the eighth, Asashi Imamura would come on for the 6-out save. In the ninth, Toshiro Ota added an insurance run with a run-scoring double play. In the bottom of the ninth, Sledge crushed a bomb double but did not come around to score, final, Sapporo: 9, Hokkaido 6.

Oh darn, I forgot to save. Well, guess I'm still 3-3 instead of 4-3. I guess I'll justsim the game over again, and give you a game 1-3 short update.

Dan homers twice in Sapporo win
In the first inning of this huge game Dae-ho Lee ripped an RBI single for the Buffaloes to make it 1-0. In the second, Hakeyama drove an RBI 1B for the Bears to tie it. In the third, Dan hit a deep bomb to right center for 1 run to make it 2-1 Bears. In the bottom of the third, Park would exit the game and Rin would come in. Lee drove an RBI double to the right field corner to make it 2-2, and then T-Okada hit a two run double to make it 4-2 ORIX. In the fourth, Gunderson smoked an RBI single to make it 4-3. In the fourth, Asashi Imamura would come in to pitch for the Bears with 2 outs. In the fifth, Dan hit another homer, this time a moonshot. The next batter, Lockhart, would also hit a solo bomb to extend the lead to 6-4. Then, Hakeyama ripped another RBI single to make it 7-4 Sapporo. In the sixth, Yamaguchi roped a sac fly to make it 8-4. In the seventh, Kitoaji would slice a 2-R 2B and Gunderson would hit another RBI single. Yamaguchi, then, crushed a solo homer to make it 12-4. Yoshino was then brought in to stop the bleeding. In th bottom of the seventh, Titus Whitberg was brought in for the Bears. The first batter he faced, Takahashi, bombed a solo homer to make it 12-5. In the eighth, Case hit a RBI 2B to make it 13-5. In the bottom of the ninth, Harnish was brought in and ended the game. 13-5.
