Post subject: | Questions about Japanese Power Pros |
So I've been watching walktroughs of Success Mode for Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2011 (especially PP31's) and I have a few questions. 1. Is Free Time as big a part in those games as in the one's here in America? 2. Will I be hindered due to the fact that I can't read Japanese? 3. Is getting abilities hard? It seems like PP31 doesn't seem to get any and I'm not sure if it's because he's unable to or he just decides not to. 4. How can I tell if there will be a Super Practice? 5. Why is Goodjob's daughter hated so much? 6. On the screen with all your teammates, what do those stars mean? And also, what was "MLB Power Pros 2009" called in Japan? |

I've noticed several people here (notably PPFan) note that 2 is not an issue. |

Naw, free time is only used to get your mood back up to snuff 2. Most certainly not, luckily 3. Nope, abilities aren't too hard to get... I just do really poorly in my videos... I made some of my best players in the Japanese games! 4. The choice of practice shines a bit 5. Okay, so, first off, she is essentially a stalker. Pretty creepy, and secondly, if you are to get her mad (at least in the PSP game) she'll bring some friends to beat you up, and all of your abilities take a hit. She also punches you in the board game success mode (which I'll make a video of soon), and your vital vitality (heh) goes down a lot. 6. The better they are at that respectively practice, the more stars (i.e. A power, 3 stars in power training) And it's called Jikkyou Powerful Major League 2009 Hope this helps! |

Thanks! I've been thinking about getting the game, but I didn't want to put almost 80 bucks into a game that I might not have been able to play. |

I would just wait until the 2012 version comes out, which looks awesome too! Hopefully you get it, easily worth the $80 |

Found this site through PP31's videos after getting sick of games like Power Pros touch and Bobblehead pros missing success mode... and just in general how the power pros success modes STILL find a way to surprise me after making over 100 characters. (Just yesterday, Dr. Goodjob showed up 3 times... to the same player... with no reloading... had 1 failed operation then 2 successes) I have a couple questions myself. 1) How many custom characters can you create? 2) How many arrange mode teams can you replace in season mode. Wonder if it's possible to replace every team in season mode with success mode characters made through the season mode and the board game mode. |
