Tigers lose due to poor pitching

Image - Michihiro Ogasawara

Tokyo Dome, Bunkyo, Tokyo - The Tigers just blew it yesterday. 10 homeruns were hit, so offense wasn't a problem. Pitching, now that's another story. Nohmi went 1 and a third giving up 6, and Tohno went 1 and 2/3 giving up 5. Horrible. Ogasawara was a big problem for the Tigers in yesterday's game, he cranked 3 homers (his 31st, 32nd, and 33rd). Toritani hit 2 of his own (his 23rd and 24th) Arai also hit two (his 17 and 18th). This is a game to forget about. Hopefully the Tigers will be able to fix their pitching before the post season.

I'll fix it in the off-season though!

Sorry, I tried to get an update in today, but about 70% of the way through, Chrome crashed, and I lost all of the stuff. So now, I'll be working on Word documents.
I'll try and get one up tomorrow instead.

Tigers win in the comeback of the year!

Image

Koshien Stadium, Nishinomiya, Hyōgo – It looked grim from the beginning. The Tigers were down 10-1 in the second. BUT THEY CAME BACK! To win it 15-14! This surely is the best comeback of the season. And also Ogasawara hit his 40th homerun today, congratulations to him! Along with 11 others who hit homeruns. Well, Ogasawara hit two, but still 12 homeruns yesterday. Wow.

And congratulations to Arai, for getting his 5,000th hit! Good going!
And to Ramirez, for getting his 300th double!

I know! We had a 10 run 7th! That really helped. A lot.

Hooray for comebacks! :D

Agreed. Agreed. My pitching is REALLY bad.

Since the trade deadline has past, and I'm bad at making pitchers in success mode, I'll have to hope that someone good will be available in the off-season.

Tigers win in extras

Image - Matt Murton

MAZDA Zoom-Zoom Stadium Hiroshima, Minami-ku, Hiroshima - The Tigers win a close one, and thats thanks to Matt Murton. His RBI single in the tenth gave the Tigers a 2-1 lead. Brazell added on to that, with a single of his own. This game was a pitcher's duel. And boy, did the both of them do a good job. Stults went 6 giving up just 1, and Nohmi went 9, giving up 1. Fujuikawa got the save, his 38th of the season.

Good going everyone, we're playoff bound. And we're going to wreak havoc.
