It IS a Kanji character, therefor, it looks like a Kanji character.

Anthony, that is EXACTLY what a Kanji is. I threw that into Google Translate, and it comes out as "Hiroshima Toyo," as in the Hiroshima Toyo Carp. I don't know if you're thinking of Hiragana or Katakana, but this is what they look like (They still say "Hiroshima Toyo"):
Hiragana: ひろしまとよ
Katakana: ヒロシマトヨ
Kanji: 広島東洋
