Today is game two against the Lions. The Dogs have Santana on the mound, and he hasn't been real good. The Lions have a three-game winning streak, so this will be a tough one. The Lions are feeling good. The Dogs are now on a two-game losing streak, and are going against one of the best pitchers on the Lions, Hoashi who has a 2.45 ERA. Let's see what the players have to say about their first two game losing streak.

Media: How does it feel to have a two-game losing streak?

Hashimoto: I mean no one likes to lose, but really it is a frickin' two game losing streak in the first month of baseball. It's nothing, we are still in first place, and that is all that matters.

DS: Well it feels good to be on a first place team, nobody cares about a two-game losing streak.

Manager Bill Fister: These guys are doing their best, and that is all I ask for...

Billy Hamilton: I am gonna get me 3 stolen bases today, and stop this little two-game losing streak!

You didn't specify the Lions SP in the lineups, and you forgot the final "a" in Santana..

But still, hoping the Dogs win!

Today was another extra-inning thriller. Both pitchers did great. It was 2-2 going into the 9th. Hashimoto got the walk-off in the 10th. That pretty much explains the whole game.

Words for the MVP: What you weren't expecting this? He hit two frickin' homers to win the game. All three RBI's. Wow, that is what you call boss-tastic. Let's here what he has to say.

Media: How does it feel to get out of the losing streak?

Hashimoto: It feels great. It feels even better knowing I won the game.

Media: How does it feel to be the first player in the Pacific League to hit 20 homers?

Hashimoto: You know, I wasn't even thinking of that. That doesn't matter. Winning is all that matters.

Media: Lastly, but not least, How does it feel to be MVP?

Hashimoto: It feels great. I deserved it and I got it.

Media: Thanks Hashimoto.

Hashimoto: No prob.

Well, it looks like he might have a chance at the triple crown if he keeps it up. Hashimoto is one of those players that never give up. I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps this up.

Today is the final game of he Lions series, and the final home game before they travel on the road. Today the Dogs have Kidokoro on the mound facing Kishi on the Lions. Both pitchers are doing good this season. Kishi has a 2.16 ERA, and Kidokoro has a 0.82 ERA. After the extra-inning thriller the Dogs are going to try to put runs on the board early. The Dogs manager, Bill Fister, has changed up the lineup today looking for some excitement from other players. Lets hear what Kidokoro has to say about the team.

Media: So Kidokoro, what is it like to have a team that can give you run support?

Kidokoro: Well it is a pitcher's heaven really. If the team can't put up runs, I would lose every game that I pitch this year. The team has been good so far, especially DS and Hashimoto who have put up a combined 61 RBI. I love it.

Media: Do you think that you can pull off your third win today/

Kidokoro: Like I said, it is all about run support. If they give me 3-5 runs, I can win.

Well, lets see if the Dogs can give Kidokoro run support in this pitchers match-up.

Overall this was a good game for both teams. It wasn't very high in the scoring category, but the starting pitchers did great. The bull-pen came in after Kishi gave up 1 run. If Kishi had stayed in, the Lions might have won, because the Lions bull-pen gave up 3 in the 8th inning. Kidokoro did great until the eighth, but then got tired and gave up two runs. The Lions struck too late.

Hashimoto: Hey DS.

Dark Shade: What do you want?

Hashimoto: Well neither of us have hit a homer in a while. I was wondering if you wanted to become friends and start working on contact and power.

Dark Shade: Why all of a sudden?

Hashimoto: WHY ARE YOU ASKING SO MANY QUESTIONS??? JUST SAY YES OR NO!!!

Dark Shade: Jeez don't have to get your panties up in a bunch. Umm...sure lets practice, but we aren't friends.

Hashimoto: ? Whatever...

Dark Shade's power went up
Hashimoto's contact went up

Today the Dogs are starting a new series against Marines. On the mound for the Dogs is Dishnetkid. The Dogs are facing the Marines submarine pitcher Watanabe. He hasn't been so good as far as ERA, but he has 3 wins. Dishnetkid leads the league in K's though, so this will be a good game to watch.

How bout the bull-pen :P

Anyway I am pretty good right now, but my catcher isn't doing so good. Harper should be back soon though.

Today was a very exciting game, going into extras. Dishnetkid had 17 strikeouts going into the 9th inning. It was 3-0 Dogs, when Dish started to give up a few hits, and then it became 3-3, just like that. Dish still pitched a full 12 innings, but they didn't win. They didn't lose either. It was a tie. There were a lot of hits to the warning track, but that didn't change the score.
