I believe they use the same testing as the Olympics...

By the by, I voted yes.

Aw yeah. Gonna be awesome!

I'm sure they do, but steroids aren't as much of a problem in Japan (if they're a problem at all). The NPB is typically viewed as more laidback than the MLB.

Kanazawa Leads The Knights To Victory!

Image - Atori and Kanazawa

Blue Stadium, Sakyō-ku – After their string of close games, the Knight took this one by a landslide. The final score was a whopping 12-2! And Kanazawa accounted for half of those runs in one of his best games of the season, and of his career. He hit 3 homeruns (a solo shot, a 2-run homerun, and a 3-run homerun, oddly enough). “I probably had the best game of my life. It was exhilarating!” Kanazawa said after the game. The Knights did have 1 loss, though. Shigeno. In the top of the 2nd inning, he tried to make a jumping catch to rob Kokubo of a homerun, but he just rammed into the wall, and sprained his wrist. He’ll be out for an entire month! “I don’t know why I jumped for it, I don’t think I would’ve been able to catch it… This is all very embarrassing…” Shigeno said

Kurihara came up in the 3rd inning, with the Knights down 2-1. He hits an absolute bomb to left-center, and it goes OVER the scoreboard, and the ball lands in the Pacific Ocean, right off of the beach behind the stadium. The ball went 161 METERS (528 FEET), setting a new NPB distance record. Kurihara’s breaking records left and right! And he’s on track to break Sadaharu Oh’s home run record! When he was told how far the ball went, he responded with, “161?! I didn’t think it went that far… But wow. I guess I got all of it, huh?”

Guess so. Kurihara also got his first career triple in this game, which came with yet another RBI. “The triple I thought was more exciting than the homerun! I haven’t hit a triple in ages…” He said.

Techer vs. Rasner - Pitching Duel

Image – Masato Kurihara

Blue Stadium, Sakyō-ku – What a game yesterday. Another close one that had plenty of opportunities to be broken open, for both teams. In the 4th, a Egawa error could’ve been costly, but luckily, the next batter, Kusano, grounded into a good ol’ 5-4-3 double play. In the 5th, the Eagles threatened again, with runners on 2nd and 3rd with only 1 out. Tsuchiya hit a blooper over Kura’s head, but he made a fantastic jumping catch and threw out Matsui at second. He saved the game with this catch. And in the 6th, the Knights had bases loaded (thanks to 2 walks by Rasner, and a single by Shimozono), with fukuchi coming up. And he grounded it back to the pitcher to end the inning.

The 2 runs the Knights got came from back-to-back homeruns by, none other than, Kanazawa and Kurihara! And since they both hit homeruns, and they were both solo homeruns, they both remain at the top of the RBI list, with 89 each. Congratulations to the both of them!

An off topic question for you PPFan, can I get Yu Darvish's abilities. I'm either going to make him myself or request him. And I know the stats are different for 2011, but It's okay.

Seibu Dome, Tokorozawa, Saitama – The Knights now have 70 wins! But it didn't come easy though, this game was a nail-biter. In the bottom of the 1st, Nakajima hit a bullet to left the got by the diving Egawa, and he then misplayed the ball off of the wall, and Nakajima got into 3rd, easily. But, the next batter Nakamura, flew out to Egawa to end the inning. In the top of the 3rd, the Knights could’ve had a chance to score, but the not-so-fleet-footed Terauchi was thrown out at 2nd to end the inning.

The game was opened up in the 6th. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, Kanazawa hit one right back up the middle to drive them both in, and give the Knights the lead. And then, right after him, Kurihara hit an absolute bomb out of the stadium to give the Knights their 3rd and 4th runs.

And then, in the bottom half of that inning, the bases were loaded (after they had already scored a run) with 2 outs, and Asamura came up to bat. He hits one deep ove Matsunaga’s head, but he makes a phenomenal, GAME-SAVING, inning-ending, jumping catch! “Probably the best catch I’ve ever made.” He said after the game.

Yoshio Fujii recorded his first career save.

Also, Kurihara and Kanazawa are battling it out for the top of the RBI leaderboard, Kurihara leads Kanazawa only by 1 now!
