JinPawa, the guy who comes out with all the awesome playthroughs of success mode, already has a playthrough of all 3 teams as a fielder AND pitcher. Here's the first one as a SS at Powerful University:

For dang sure! Anyways I love the new animations and such, while they feel a bit slower they are way more realistic than last years and make the game even more fluid.

Looks awesome. Can't wait to go to PPFan's house and play it.

The speech bubble is him telling you his name. If you can read it, you know that it's definitely him.

Holy...wow. I'm looking at the uni's, and I'm thinking to myself: What if we see more familiar faces on the team that the spoiler player is on?

I watched the rest of the playthrough, and he's the only familiar face on that team. However, the player lost the last game against Akatsuki University (the rival school). Maybe if you win that game, you can face *spoilers*'s team again, perhaps with an updated roster? All you guys who are getting this game, you have to figure this stuff out!

Also, the major characters on rival teams now have stylish special effects for their original pitches. Check it out!

I hope they made him better than in the American versions.

His name is highlighted in blue, with the hiragana version in parentheses. I'm pretty sure that says Ikari. The announcer seems to pronounce it with a "k" as well, but I guess it's really not too important.
