Yup. I was surprised at the variety of the 2010 version, I can't wait to see the new styles they added for 2011.

Pitchers, now.

ImageTsukiya Yamato
NUMBER, B/T, TOP SPD, CON, STAM, PITCHES
8, R/R, 150 km/h (93 mph), C, B, Hard slider – 5, SFF - 5
ERA: 3.49
W-L: 11-2
IP: 121 1/3
K: 108
He's our ace, and is leading the league in wins. His ERA is a bit hig, but so is the rest of the team's. He's got the most strikeouts on the team, and the 4th most in the Pacific League.

ImageKiyoshi Atori
NUMBER, B/T, TOP SPD, CON, STAM, PITCHES
24, R/R, 144 km/h (89 mph), D, A, Circle change – 1, curveball - 7
ERA: 4.59
W-L: 9-4
IP: 121 2/3
K: 81
His ERA is astronomically high...

ImageHiroshi Shima
NUMBER, B/T, TOP SPD, CON, STAM, PITCHES
16, L/L, 153 km/h (95 mph), E, C, slider – 1, circle change – 1 sinker - 2
ERA: 3.59
W-L: 10-5
IP: 135 1/3
K: 78
He had potentially the best start of a career ever, throwing 26 2/3 innings consecutively without giving up a run. He's gone down a bit, but is still doing respectably.

ImageAtaru Hiyama
NUMBER, B/T, TOP SPD, CON, STAM, PITCHES
11, R/R, 147 km/h (91 mph), C, A, 2-seam, slider – 1, sinker – 1, V-slider - 2
ERA: 3.12
W-L: 8-3
IP: 135 1/3
K: 89
Right now, he's our best starter. He's tied for the most innings pitched, and has the best ERA (for the starters).

ImageRyan Techer
NUMBER, B/T, TOP SPD, CON, STAM, PITCHES
13, R/R, 144 km/h (90 mph), B, B, 2-seam fastball, knuckleball - 1, Slow curve - 3
ERA: 4.06
W-L: 3-2
IP: 62
K: 40
Ryan's the newest addition to the rotation, and I believe that his ERA's so high only because he hasn't pitched much.

ImageIkumi Koyama
NUMBER, B/T, TOP SPD, CON, STAM, PITCHES
58, R/R, 140 km/h (87 mph), D, E, slider – 3, SFF - 5
ERA: 7.32
W-L: 3-1
IP: 19 2/3
K: 16
He isn't doing too well...

ImageMakiya Sawamura
NUMBER, B/T, TOP SPD, CON, STAM, PITCHES
50, R/R, 143 km/h (89 mph), E, E, Hard slider – 1, sinker – 1, changeup - 4
ERA: 4.15
W-L: 2-1
IP: 21 2/3
K: 15
He's probably one of our better middle relievers, he's doing decently.

ImageKenta Takaguchi
NUMBER, B/T, TOP SPD, CON, STAM, PITCHES
12, L/R, 133 km/h (82 mph), F, B, shuuto – 5, curveball - 3
ERA: 5.83
W-L: 3-4
IP: 63 1/3
K: 40
He was converted into a relief pitcher, due to his poor performance.

ImageJun Ohtonari
NUMBER, B/T, TOP SPD, CON, STAM, PITCHES
48, R/R, 139 km/h (86 mph), C, C, slider – 2, curveball – 7
ERA: 3.16
W-L: 3-0
IP: 37
K: 19
He and Imanami are doing surprisingly well!

ImageShota Imanami
NUMBER,, B/T, TOP SPD, CON, STAM, PITCHES
29, R/R, 133 km/h (82 mph), F, C, shuuto – 1, Drop curve - 7
ERA: 1.69
W-L: 3-1
S: 1
IP: 26 2/3 IP
K: 16
He's is doing remarkably well, our second best reliever, only behind...

ImageYoshio Fujii
NUMBER, B/T, TOP SPD, CON, STAM, PITCHES
91, R/R, 139 km/h (86 mph), E, D, Hard sinker – 2, Slow curveball – 2, shuuto - 3
ERA: 0.43
W-L: 4-0
IP: 21
K: 10
He is everything you can ask for in a set-up man. He's got the attitude, and he's got the performance to back it up. The 8th inning is his kingdom.

ImageSakutarou Makida
NUMBER, B/T, TOP SPD, CON, STAM, PITCHES
19, L/L, 148 km/h (92 mph), E, E, Drop curve – 1, V-slider – 4
ERA: 1.67
W-L: 0-2
S: 26
IP: 32 1/3
K: 26
Our electric closer! He's one of the best in the league, and didn't even let up a run for his first 10 opportunities. He's still doing very well, leading the Pacific League in saves, and tied for second in the NPB, with Samurais closer, Jonny Hoashi

Most likely my birthday, which is next month. If not, then Christmas, which is when I got 2010.

I am seriously contemplating getting a PS3 so I can get this game. Also Kurihara, your clean up batter, is one away from an MLB record for homers at the All Star break which was set by Barry Bonds at 39 home runs.

If he's near th MLB record, do you have any idea what the NPB record is? I searched it online but I couldn't find it.

Shoot. So close... And I would recommend this game. It's incredible.

They only problem is that (with a PS3) it would run you about $300-$350, depending on what model you get.

BrewersFuzz wrote:

120-ish. Some teams play more than others... For some odd reason.

I couldn't find it either, but if I were to guess, it would either be Sadaharu Oh, or Koji Yamamoto.

Scratch that. I'm almost 100% certain that Kurihara currently holds the record for most homeruns before the all-star break. The record for single season homeruns is 55, and that's by Sadaharu Oh (and Tuffy Rhodes, and Alex Cabrera [though they had a chance to break it, and both times played Oh's team, and were walked intentionally in every at-bat]), Kurihara's only got to hit 17 more to tie that.

So... I would say 38 is the record, but I'm not sure what it is in real-life.

Yeah I couldn't find it, but yeah probably what PPFan said. Tuffy Rhodes might be close and maybe even Hideki Matsui.(?)

Yeah, Oh is a whiner. Doesn't want ANYBODY to break his records, apparently.

Yeah as my gym teacher (Sgt. Pepper is based on him ) would say: That's weak.

Alex Cabrera, when on ESPN, said it was the 2nd phoniest record in sports history. (Not sure what the first was...)
