Fellow power pro’ers

I need some help with this one. My new player (SS) (REDS) stats are T=3/C=A/P=B/S=A---the rest are all b’s. My problem is I had a monster spring going 11-16-4 hr’s and 10 RBI,3 steals and 2 walks . But on opening day my guy is batting 8th and not the SS but the C. I went 2-3 2b w/3rbi+1steal (we won 3-1). Next game I don’t start at all what give??? Can’t talk to the coach.

I played, and still play 1B everyday...Alex Gonzalez isn't better than you, but he's still the starter and you're much better than all the catchers so they decide to play you there. Gonzalez is here for this season and next season so after next year Keppinger will e the only one in your way. I'm not sure why you didn't get the start, but probably because you're a rookie. But, you'll bat 8th until you really prove that you can hit for a while and then you'll get moved up in the order. I batted 8th for a while until my 2nd season when I proved that I could really consistently hit, you'll probably get moved up if you keep hitting a lot this season.

The only thing I can sudgest is to wait awhile, till you have earned more of the coach's trust, then go talk with him. I know it says you can talk with your coach but it may be awhile before you maybe moved. Think you may just have to wait a bit to see what happens.

I played my position I chose (CF) until year 4 when we got Andruw Jones and I got moved to 1B when we had two perfectly good first basemen, Derrek Lee and Paul Konerko. I don't know how this game works, but as long as I get to play.

you have to wait to gain the coaches trust to have him move you.
i tried for the hell of it with my left fielder on the braves, they had me at 1st, and he said put up numbers then ask him again.

then i had them move my pitcher from set-up man to closer, after 3-4years as the long relief/set-up.

Trust doesn't matter if you suck at fielding like me :D I guess spring training this year will be another defense focused year. I have my manager at 5 stars, but I also do have Dunn and Soriano blocking me in LF.
