I just hit for the cycle against the Padres! I got a single first, then a homer, then a double, and in the top of the 8th or 9th, I hit a triple and got injured on the slide into the base and had to be taken out of the game.

I got everything except the single in reverse order one game. HR, Triple, Double, and then I grounded out in my fourth at bat. I wasn't happy.

I've been a triple short of the cycle a few times. I did hit it in success mode though in the order of Single, Double, Triple, Home Run. You should get "Hot Hitter" for that...

i've almost had the cycle 2 times so far ><, missed by a triple and the other instead of a double in my last at bat, i got a liner over the fence.

I went passed the cycle once, too. All I needed was a double, but I ended up going to third for my second triple of the game.

Did the game mention the cycle after you achieved it? Also, did you get extra points for doing so?

Yeah, the game did the whole "achievement" thing, and I don't know what you mean by extra points.

technique and stuff

You only get technique, strength, etc. points in success mode, not MLB Life mode.
