It's only possible in Created Player mode. You'll have whatever number you gave your Success player. |

I tried reloading with another character and it changes everytime. I was hoping you could ask the manager or coach but I don't see an option for it. |

I guess the game doesn't find it that important. |

Someone was talking to me about how I should hope to get my number 73 retired. Oh yeah, I absolutely love that number and I definitely want it retired. |

It's either that, or the number was already taken on the team you're on. |

I gave mine #18 in success mode and he was not it in my life mode. I had to reset a pitcher because I'm not playing 20 years as number 69. |

I'm on the Astros and it was Bagwell's # but it hasn't been retired yet. cooldude1045 wrote: I gave mine #18 in success mode and he was not it in my life mode. I had to reset a pitcher because I'm not playing 20 years as number 69. So many jokes to make about that |

I don't think you lose it. I got demoted and came back with the same dreadful #72 |

I was hoping we could buy some guys some stuff to take their number like people do in real life, so if I wanted number 5 from Ronny Cedeno I would just have to take him out to eat and buy him a lot of stuff, totally worth it, I'm sick of being #73. MaxD is a lucky man, he must have some connections. |
