Has anybody else been having problems when it comes to getting run support? My guy has pitched in 7 games so far and he has 2 wins, 3 losses, 2 no decisions, and a 0.54 ERA. It's just ridiculous.... the Blue Jays almost never score! ![]() |

I'm thinking there is a bug in MLB Life Mode that prevents you from getting much (any) run support. I've run through about 12 games thus far and the team has never scored more then 2 run with me on the mound.... and yet they've only once scored less then 3 runs when I'm not on the mound. I may have to stick to position players if this doesn't sort itself out. It seems like ight now if your playing as a pitcher the games sim engine is thrown completely out of whack and runs are virtually nonexistant. |

Depends on team and I never go for starting pitchers anyway |

I have a 0.28 ERA in 17 games and have 5 losses, 2 wins with the Pirates. It's awful. I have bad stamina (a D) so i don't last too long anyway. I think the most run support I got was 3 runs. |

Yes, this is one problem, and in success mode, too. Never enough run support, I hope they fix that if they make a new game. |

You can't expect a lot of run support playing for the Pirates. |

HEY! The Pirates have a good offense. They have the second most runs scored in the NL. But for the game, another bad thing about the Pirates. |

I'm just messin' with ya. They have a lot of talent, too bad they trade them all away for nothing. Really bad moves for them. I hope they prove me wrong. I grew up with them being good. |

It's just ridiculous.... the Blue Jays almost never score! ![]() Have you taken a look at their roster? Only Rios has a B for power, no one else has a B in anything except fielding. Their strength is the pitching, in my Life Doc and Burrnett lead the league in Strikeouts, wins and in top five of ERA. Don't expect much run support for the Jays, solid pitching and defense is how they are winning. Besides, I think most pitchers only get on average 2-3 runs of support, I would expect 1-2 with the Jays. I feel ya guy, I working on a lefty in success that will hopefully start for the Jays...I'll be in your shoes soon enough. |

I tried starting Life Mode with a few different teams. They all seem to max out at 2-3 runs/9 at the most whenever you pitch. I didn't try the Jays long enough to see for certain but they managed 5 runs in 41 innings pitched when I gave it a try with them, worse then some but their all limited in run support. |

I think it's the Jays. Wells batted .270 with 10hr and 70rbi, that was the best. Scutaro had more homers than him in my game. ![]() |

You are right, we do trade great players for nothing. We have new management, so lets see where this goes.... ![]() |
