simming? I'm guessing it's bad? I might try simming up to practice points or something like that to see what happens. Obviously, I'm sure you get better stats from not simming - I'm just curious. |

I've chosen to never sim during the season, instead simming through the playoffs, which I never make cuz my team sucks and they can't beat the BLUE JAYS! They keep beating us and we missed the playoffs by one game! Enough of my rant, it's better to play anyway, why'd you sim, when you bought the game to play it? |

I sim a good bit in Season mode because even playing 25-30 games a season like I do still takes awhile to get through a season, let alone 10 years. The way MLB life is structured where you're basically just playing your guy takes that problem away. Games take longer if you're a starting pitcher, but with a fielder I get through a season in MLB Life in about 8-10 hours. Also, you tend to get emotionally invested in your guy, which makes simming his life seem a bit weird - more like impatience than anything else ![]() |

The games may take longer for a pitcher but you also play less. If you are starting I like the count down it does; 4 days till start, 2 days till start, etc. I am working on a closer for the Rays, still in success mode, and it will be intresting to see how often he comes in. |

I did that with the Sox once, he came in about 17 times when Papelbon was around, and about 46 when he wasn't. |

I usually only play enough games and get enough HRs and RBIs to clinch the MVP title and then I sim until the playoffs. I never sim the playoffs even if my team isn't in it because I get to practice in power. If I use a few boosts I can increase my power by five or six during October. |

I envy you HR hitters, I can only break the Hits, doubles, triples, and SB records, only hit 4 HR's a year. |
