Post subject:  Asking Emily to Marry Me
Ok, so I am 5 stars likability with Emily and steady, but every time I go on a date with her to her favorite restaurant the proposal never comes up!!! Help please?!
By the Way I have the engangment ring equipped along with a suit and a watch. I also am renting the Luxury Condo and have a convertible.

In the link it says I need the luxury condo and convertible but I already have that and it still won't work
Do I need to fully buy the condo cuz right now I'm only renting it

You need an engagement ring, you need to take Emily to one of her favorite places to eat ( make sure it isn't the second time in a row you have taken her there) propose, she will interrupt and say something along the lines of, "If you play well in this game tonight, you can ask me anything." Play well in the game, propose, ride off into the sunset. :D

I think you may need to fully own the house. Then you should be good.

I think by 5 years in, you may or may not win the lottery, and the game will give you max money (at least, with my experience). Should be no problem. ;)

I don't believe you need to fully own the house because I have a kid with her and another one on the way and I still haven't paid off my luxury condo.

From my observations for marrying emily:
>I bought a convertible
>I have loan on the luxury condo
>I have the engagement ring in my bag
>I'm steady with Emily (5 stars likability)

2nd Edit:
I had the requirements listed above and never had a chance to ask her to marry me in My Life.
I would randomly choose a few games each month and ask her out for a meal before a game (date was morning, game was night). So after a few years of being steady I bought the $10 million mansion and my 'Level' increased to C. The date during the day - game during night - that I asked her out to a meal and the 'bet' proposal appeared.
TLDR - possible issue of not being able to ask her to marry yourself is because your player's level may not be high enough



So I had free time before the third game in the 2009 season, so i asked her out to the steakhouse (one of her favorite restaurants) and after, she said "If you do well in tonight's game, you can ask me anything you want, but if you don't you have to buy me dinner." So i chose the option, that said i'll do it. I saved before the game because i'm a closer, played in the game and got the save, 3 up 3 down. She comes up to you after and says "since you won the bet, what do you want to do to?" Option 1: I'd like some dinner. Option 2: I want you to marry me. I chose Option 2 which made me become engaged to her
