This is a log of my Success Mode character, Dino. He plays 3B on the Cincinnati Reds.

After doing average during the Spring Training League, Dino made it to the roster as a backup to Edwin Encarnacion on Opening Day. His first hit was a popup to the catcher :?

I will fill in more of his career as I play.

You made opening day roster? Nice, I didn't get called up until April 12th....

Well, I was sent down to AAA for a while, started rockin' them again. Hit a walk-off-come-from-behind-grand-slam-home-run against PIT AAA and they sent me back up to the majors. I'm sure it was just coincidence, but there was also a big trade that moved Edwin Encarnacion to another team, so my chances of starting rotation is getting better. They have Hopper there at the moment until I can start getting consistent with my swing.

Then this game must be full of coincidences because I got called up after a perfect game with like 14 strikeouts.

Wait, do you mean Hopper is playing 3rd base? I have seen some out of position people but, I could never see Hopper playing third, that would just be funny.

They moved A-Rod to catcher in my guy's second season. Nothing is out of play in this game.

 I think he would take him and his 300 million dollar contract home if he got moved to catcher. The CPU plays me at first occaionally even though I'm a LF and have no 2nd positions, they don't want my horrible defense in LF. So I either take Soriano's spot or D Lee's spot, 2 major shoes to fill. I have also seen some other out of whack people at positions but not as crazy as A Rod at catcher, sheff at 1st, nomar at 2nd.

Norris Hopper at 3rd DOES sound weird. So does A-Rod at catcher!

In mine, they played Chase Utley at catcher

Utley at catcher is another odd one. I bet it's because of pinch running if somebody ends up at catcher. That seems like the position most players are misplaced at.

Actually, I did some digging, hopper played SS/2B back in the day.
Scroll down to the fielding stats.
