My guy has two walk-off hits in AAA! One was a walk-off double, and the other a walk-off dinger! He's been bumped up to lead-off hitter for now.

my relief pitcher(success mode) on the braves finally made an appearance
went 1inning gave up 1hit and had 2k's, got a Hold
the next game, they had me as the starter.
7innings 14k's, 2hits. braves reliever ended up giving up 2runs, so i got a ND and we won 3-2 in 11th.
a good job by my guy, and he doesnt pull a win!

Probably some, but I started a season at .700, and I ended around .393. The game gets really hard to hit during playoffs and the last part of the season. It's almost like the game auto-adjusts if you are doing way to well.

Guilty. My first character, (success mode) was on the Royals MLB roster from day 1 and started in the 3rd game. 500+ batting average through first 2 weeks with 7 HRs out of the 9 hole. Slowly climbing up the order. I decided to restart with a higher difficulty.

I'm on expert difficulty and it's very hard to even get a hit, it just seems harder than '07

I'm doing the same DS. I'm glad to hear that it's not just me. I was able to get to the Majors by opening day and managed to get a hit for my first at-bat but its hard as crap to continue hitting!

I'm doing well. Starting C for the Diamondbacks, but... I must confess that I simply edited a player to use. After toiling in the minors with a lousy character in MLB The Show's obnoxious Road to the Show mode for countless hours, it's nice to jump in and be decent right off the bat.

Im playing xpert with harder batting. More fun when it's challenging.

Same here. I have yet to walk either, but maybe the CPU doesn't walk on Expert.

but isn't it a lot more fun when you have to wait for the right pitch? i'm batting .310 12hr/20rbi on a crappy blue jays aaa team in expert and it's pretty fun.
