I love the Tronto Blue Jays. It's a toss up as too what position I will play. If we have Glaus then I may try for 3B power with better defense then. We do need a catcher that can throw out runners but our biggest need is SS. Need to see how McDonald's stats look if I go for SS. We also lack a LH starting pitcher so maybe I can whip up a upper 90's fastball with a knuckle and screwball. I could also just forget about fielding and focus on hitting to replace Thomas. Too many possibilites....will be fun to see if I can take my Jays back to the promise land!!!!

Probably 3B/LF or the other way around, and probably be on one of my favorite 2 teams, the cubs or reds. I'm not sure if I want to be a 3rd baseman or not because I used to play there and rarely made only about 3 errors in 3 seasons, but then my elbow got messed up and I no longer could make accurate throws to first base, so maybe I'll start out as a 3rd baseman and then injure my elbow(get elbow bomb) practicing with little vitality. So hopefully I can take one of the teams to the world series, I'll probably pick the reds since they will need a new LF after the first year if Dunn leaves because the cubs 3B and LF are definitely taken for a while.

Catcher, probably for the Cubs. Might be hard to beat Soto for the position, though, so if not them, than I can go with the D-Backs, or maybe the Rangers. That's my favorite position, along with my favorite teams.

I'll pitch for the Astros, because beating 4 of 5 starters should be no hard trick. Besides, it would be nice to play for the hometown team.

Ditto Marvin Card! Althogh my first choice would be 1st Base but I hate to bench Lance!

I'm still not quite sure what MLB Life mode is.

You play out the MLB career of a player. Up to 20 years max, for games you only play when you're in a game (only your at-bats, or for a pitcher only the innings you're in), and lots of RPG type decisions for stats and other stuff. See my other thread for an idea.

So you just live the life of another player? I think I saw some pics of that on IGN. You can buy houses and cars and stuff right?

I'll be Red Sox RF. Garret Backe if I can make him good enough.

I'm thinking of making either a Start/Relieve pitcher or 2nd baseman(my position) for the Braves(Fav team). Since they lack a few starters and the bullpen isnt so great right now.

I don't get what you mean by "make" a player. Don't you just play as a real player? I guess you could make a player and do Life mode with him, but I still don't get what you mean by make.

Ugh, I don't get this mode at all. It doesn't make sense what the purpose of this is other than that you make your own player or play as a real player and live life playing as him. Isn't that all you do or is there more to it? I guess I'll wait till the game comes out to play this mode and fully understand it.

Think of it as being another success mode (albeit a more in-game focused one), except instead of trying to make the MLB you're already there and get to play out your career.
You can choose an existing MLB player to use, create a new player, or bring a graduated success mode character into it.

I might be a catcher for the Astros instead. Humberto Quintero as the starting catcher next year scares me to think about it!
