The Second Round of the MLB Draft is beginning, and I just met Stephen Strasburg, Dustin Ackley, and Brett Jackson. The Nationals are on the clock.
"With the 32 pick in the MLB Draft, Freddy Jones, SS from UC Irvine"
I sigh a sigh of relief, is over. I go to Bud Selig and take my Nationals Hat. I'm a pro! I thought as I'm walking of the stage, I've really done it!.

Spring Results:
5-0 Loss to PIT, 4-4, 4 singles, 1 SB
4-3 Loss to FLA, 2-4, 2 singles
5-0 Loss to NYM, 1-4, 1 Single

As I walked into the clubhouse after the game, coach told me and Oakley to go see the manager. We walked into the manager's ofice and he told us to sit down.
"Boys, it was nice having you here for spring training, but we think you should go to AAA"
I nodded and Oakley seemed pretty happy. After we arrived at the AAA field, we practiced and met our new teamates. The manager, Luis Marchez, welcomed us to the ball club and said that we would be playing the Georgia Braves, the AAA team for Atlanta. We were called the DC Nationals.

OPENING DAY 08
DC vs. Georgia
Luis called me in before the game and told me I had been named the starting Shortstop. I'd be batting leadoff. Okay, Freddy, show them they should call you up!
I ended up going 3-4 with three singles in a 2-1 loss.
