Ok (stupid question alert...) how do you raise that level? I mean is it just by putting in the time & improving your skills? Or is there some specific thing to do to make your players level higher?

Um... the best way to boost level is winning player of the week/month, and yes, hobbies like video games and golfing boost you level as well.

Congrats! And i've really only found winning awards yo improve level. Maybe hobby and other things do, but i really haven't noticed.

You have to play well. REALLY well. If you do good enough, you can win the Rookie of the year (ROTY) award, and other awards.

Also, if you want to get a jump start on that quest, look here if you haven't already. It will help you in creating superstar players.
