Post subject:  Run support as a pitcher in Life mode

I created a pitcher in life mode and every time I start a game I get the worst run support- like my team will either score 1 run (if I'm lucky) or zero. So even if I don't give up a run I will at best get a no-decision and at worst I will give up ONE RUN and end up losing the game...is there something I can do to get better run support from my team? BTW I have an ERA of under two...

the Giants...is it because their offense in the game is crappy? even so they never score any runs and my record as a pitcher is crappy even though I have a good ERA. it's like the only way to even have a shot at winning is to not give up any runs

I suggest you sign with a team with good run support like Yankees or Mets. Try to avoid signing with teams with bad run support, e.g. pirates, diamondbacks.

He's right you know.. after that you can wait for 6 years to get into free agency and be on the team you want to be in.. the team should already be mixed.. hopefully good though.. the mixing of players are always random
