i know there's a particular pitcher or batter you just hate staring down, you got em, I got em.
starting with my closer, there are several actually: the usual suspects-A-Rod, Papi, Manny, Vlad, though Texeira's recently been topping that list. My closer's a southpaw...which doesn't bode well when Tex comes up with his vs Lefty 4...that cursor takes up damn near half the strike zone.
with my catcher, there's only a handful of pitchers I don't like facing: public enemy #1's Dontrelle cus it's VERY hard to gauge his pitch location before it's out of his hand. Everybody else, I can generally wait for something in the general area of points A and B and decide whether to swing or not, and whether to go normal or big, from there. Dontrelle limits me to hoping I can hit it where they aint cus his cursor moves (and fades) very quickly, and THAT almost never moves to where he throws. the other guys are CC, Felix and Liriano because they are just that good.

In any mode, my most feared batter when I'm pitching is Adam Dunn. When I'm batting, my most feared pitcher is Roy Oswalt.

Batters: A-Rod, Manny, Vlad, and Dunn

Pitchers: Roy Oswalt (his motion messes my timing)
Someone with the Slow Curve ball.. again it makes my timing wrong

I don't play MLB Life but the following players generally give me trouble in exhibition mode:

Batters:
Teixeira, Mauer, Ichiro - Mainly high contact guys that somehow find a way to get a hit.
Any pitcher(!) when playing under NL rules - They either hit a bloop or take me up the middle.

Pitchers:
El Duque - I tend to get too aggressive when his Slow Starter is active, after it wears off, you get the illusion that his stuff is overpowering.
Beckett - Forkball and Changeup keep me off balance.

I've only faced these guys in season mode, but:

batter: Magglio Ordonez He's always batting like .200, but I try to throw it up in the cold area and he smashes a liner into the gap. Every single time.

pitcher: Dontrelle Willis, because of the sinking fastball that keeps me off balance.

I hate facing this guy the Rays drafted in 2010. I can't get a hit off of him, and when I do, it is usually an infield fly or a grounder to first.

I also hate facing Chase Utley. The Phillies traded him to the Mets (we play them alot), and I can't strike him out.

I hate facing Chase Utley, too. He also seems to get a hit every time.

Off topic: There is no way in he** the Phillies are going to trade Chase Utley to the rival Mets in real life.

I traded Utley to the Mets in Season Mode for a prospect in year 2015.

Pitcher: K-Rod (Somehow whenever i face him, he is at best condition)
Beckett (Stupid Forkball and Intimidator)
Wagner ( 4 Fastball+Spin+Intimidator *All Star Game*)
Wakefield (If I'm in poor condition)
Fielder: No one really, better at pitching than batting.

In conclusion, I hate intimidator and poor conditions.

Pitchers breakup my no-nos all the time. Once in the 9th. @#($*@"#!(*%!@ Pardon my French that nobody can see. :P

Manny and A-Rod. I can't think of any hard pitchers right now since its been a while since I played, but I loved hitting against Beckett, I would usually score 9+ runs against him. Wakefield was fun to hit too as was Bucholz and Matzuzaka. Lester gave me a small amount of trouble, but nothing major. I rarel plaed againsr him. Wakefield use to be hell the first 2-3 games, but then I memorized where the knuckleball moved and hit him every time.

I think my CPU Manny is broken because whenever i'm up against him he doesn't perform. He swings at almost anything I give him and isn't much of a threat to me anymore.

Other than that yeah, A-Rod, Utley, Dunn and Mauer always seem to get me. As for pitchers then Josh Beckett, Oswalt and Konami's updated Cliff Lee.
