Wouldn't it be nice if you could go to the coach and say to him "please don't let Rios hit after me in the lineup! After all I am the league leader in hits, stolen bases, and runs. What has Rios done? Strike out 212 rimes with 3 games to go, or maybe it's his majors leading grounding into DP of 68, or maybe because he has an average of .209, but could you please, please put a better hitter behind me?" I have the dream that I could get a better number 2 hitter, but then it's the blue Jays and 4 hitters with over 150 SO is just crazy. How sad is a team when the lead off hitter counts for almost 1/3 of all the homeruns for the team (30/96). Now I know why I always trade Rios in season mode! |

Technically, you could, talk to the coach and change your role, but that's about it. |
