I have a player in MLB Life Mode and he just set the single season recored in Stolen Bases. He stole 132 bases breaking the Current Day Recored set by Rickey Henderson. I did this at the age of 20! Now I'm 21 and I'm currently 2 weeks past the All Star Break and I have 108 Stolen Bases already! Has anybody else had crazy numbers like this?

What difficulty are you on? Well, I've never completed My Life, but sometimes, just for fun, I change the setting to Best Try, make the difficulty as low as possible, and be A-Rod. It works.

I play on Custom Settings and I have my Lock On Normal. I have everything pretty much on hard but my guy has 15 speed now and has proggresed fast.

I've gotten over 300 stolen bases, but only because i'm on lock on 5, slow pitch speed. All the setttings are on powerful, though.

I got 160 last year because every time I got on base *steals second* *steals third* got picked off once but never got caught.

Once I set CPU fielding to novice and then stole 4 bases in a game like every other day

the other days I would steal 3 bases

I think i had 8 in one game once. I can't remember if we blew them away or if it wnet into a whole bunch of extra innings.

Usually 8 in a game. 4 for 4 and still both 2nd and 3rd each time.

try to get 12. STEAL HOME! jk

I wish you could control your guy when you got on third. I would steal home so many times.

You can't? oh...

Not that I know of, unless you can change the settings to.

You can't control your guy on base in these two situations:

a) If there's a runner on the base in front of you
b) If you're on third base

True, but if it's 1st/3rd, you cna control your guy on first. If you could control your guy at third, you could steal home if you had "tough runner" agaisnt a catcher that didn't have "gd block".

I think they make stealing bases way to easy. I am midway through August and I've stolen 145 bases. They should either make the catchers arms better or when you have 15 speed not make it that you can reach third 3 steps before the catcher.

With fielding on powerful, and pitch speed on fast you wont have the problem of it being too easy. Its usually more about your settings then your skill when you find things way too easy. If your settings are all on powerful, and you have all the speed ratings to highest, and lock on to normal, you should see more realistic numbers.
