AGH! Here I am, 8 and 2/3 innings into the game as a pitcher. 11 strikeouts and 71 pitches. No hits, no walks. And the coach comes out to take me out of the game, killing my chance for my first perfect game.

In 2K's defense, my stamina was only a D, at 61. But I guess that's another thing to go to the fix list.

71 pitches is about when Sittch gets tired for me at the last game in Success, and he has B stamina.

What about this for stamina? You can throw approximatley 2/3 the pitchers of your total stamina. So, if you have 100 stamina, you can throw about 67 pitches and then start to get tired?
On-topic: 2k really does need to fix that. It stinks.

Really? Does top speed factor in how long you stay in the game? Mine's only 84, if it does matter.

No no no, that's what 2k should do, but it has nothiong to do with top speed and is not the case now.

that would mean that the most a pitcher could do, by that logic, is 100 pitches.

255/3=85 8582=170 170 pitches. That's about waht a maxxed-out stamina pticher could throw on an average day. It would flucuate depending on condition, and of course, it is rare even for success pitchers to have stamina that high.

that's okay. I'm not saying his arm would magically fall off after he hit a certain pitch count, but he would start to tire depending on his condition.

I feel your pain. I was playing with Pittsburg in my Life Mode. My guy has 15 speed and can steal on any catcher. It's the bottom of the 9th the game is tied I get on first with one out. They use a pinch runner for my guy who has 15 speed and put in a guy with 9 speed. The game either made Pittsburg managing very stupid or theres just something wrong. 2K should fix this if 2009 comes out.

No, they ground into a double play when I could of been on third with in 2 pitches. It went to the 11th where the Cubs hit a homerun winning the game in the top of the 11th. We went 0-3 in the bottom of the inning.
