NLCS
World Series baby! We swept the Rockies in four straight! I homered at my first at-bat, and i just had a good feeling for the rest of the series. I knew it was ours for the taking. In Game 2, i hit a walk-off homer agaisnt Hideki Okajima! Then, i knew FOR SURE, we had this in the bag. In game 4, to almost garuntee our spot in the world series, i hit a grand slam, followed by a three-runner to ice it. I had 7 of the 8 RBI's that day. I'm feelin great goin into the series, not to mention that i experienced another moment with my fielding similiar to my running. I've been working hard, and i feel i'm just a little bit better,a nd still improving. Since both Boston and us clinched in four, i felt we were almost "keeping pace", since they played all their games first. My coach said it didn't matter, and everyone gets 7 games, but i knew Boston better be ready for us. World Series, here we come.

World Series
"World Champions! World f***ing champions!" as Utley said at the victory parade. I can't believe we did! It was awesome! I hit a homer to start of the scoring in game 1, and i knew it was ours. We won, then i hit one over the monster in game 2! But we got walked off... We continued at it, and took games 3 and 4, but in game 3, disaster struck. Utley was on first, while i was at the plate, and he stole second. He was safe, but he got hurt! They had to put Snelling in, and he stole third, followed by my homer. Luckily he was able to come back the next day. When i awoke on the bug day, i knew we were going to take home the glory. I only managed one hit, but i was the first one to celebrate when i ran out and hugged Lidge in our 5-1 victory over Boston. It was just awesome. I took home MVP and we had our parade, and it was just a blast. What a great feeling as a rookie to come in and win it all.

Off-season
What an incredible off-season I've had. I've done a lot of charitable work, and signed a contract with Darryl for over 1.5 million dollars. I've also won almost every award imaginable. MVP, Hank Aaron, Silver Slugger, Rookie of the Year, the Triple Crown, along with Staff Ace Cole Hamills. I'M THE FIRST ROOKIE EVER TO WIN THE TRIPLE CROWN! I'VE MADE HISTORY THAT WILL NEVER BE DUPLICATED! I'M IMMORTAL! Okay, okay, calm down. Pretty cool, though. I'm a little sad though. Chris Coste, who i'd been starting to get to know, decided to call it quits, and move to England, so i won't be able to talk to him anymore. And i tied the knot! Me and Emily were married on the 8th of January. all our friends came, and i was out 34,000, but you can't really put a dollar figure on the second-most impor-I MEAN FIRST-MOST (sorry Emily) day of your life. I can't wait for spring training to start.
