Makes no sense. If you are the best player, you are the best rookie (i know, duh, but just putting it out there). Either the game is programmed on purpose so that you can't do that (althoguh i can't see why not,) or it is laziness on the part of the programmers to fix a bug.

thats why i won MVP. I hit only about 30 HRs, 30 SBs, but I had a BA of just under .500.
