After most of my pitcher's outings, I notice that both 'Fastball Life' and 'Spin' have a downwards facing arrow. This seems to happen independently of what kind of pitching performance he had.

What's causing this?

it seems to happen regardless of whether people are getting hits off him or not.

he'll have scoreless outings, and the Fastball Life will still decrease.

also, it has never, not once, gone up.

Maybe your not throwing enough fastballs?

getting your 4SFB or 2SFB smacked around for multiple hits or giving an extra base hit...

I agree with Cownip...spin would probally go down depending on how many you throw. Try doing a game throwing largly breaking pitches and see what happens.

that's how you increase the break exp, by throwing it a lot.

Spin and Fastball with Life goes down if you are a closer and you give up a hit. I think for starter is when you give up a run or lose(I think is lose cause i gave up a run and nothing happened when i relieve). The more of a certain pitch you throw you do indeeed get more EXP. E.g. 10 SLD, 1 CHG More SLD points than CHG

i think it goes down when the ball go too much in the outfield, even if it's not a base hit
