Is there a way to improve your original pitch in life mode? I see it for my other pitches but not my orig.

Ok... So I'm in between modes right now. I would do a franchise log but... Nobody answered my question yet.

you have to use the pitch in a game or increase it in practice alone or practice or use 1 of the books that increases breaking ball exp

Your original pitch becomes just like a standard breaking ball in MLB Life mode with it's own upgrade bar. Use it often enough and you gain "experience" towards improving it a level.

You can improve on one, but you can't learn one.

Just use it as a set-up pitch or as a strikeout pitch. As long as they contact out, ot you strike them out with that pitch, it will increase.

As everyone has said, you can raise the bar slowly by using the pitch in the games. However, I've noticed that you can't improve it in Spring Training (which is a huge boost, something like half a level). So, it's development is going to be much slower than a pitch that you could work on in ST.

If someone else has the option in ST to work on it in Breaker Boost, please correct me, maybe I just have too many pitches.
