My First Year.
Starting Stats- Anderson Garcia, 19 L/L, #50
92 mph, D control 123, C stamina 100.
4 CHCB - CB with more Change.
5 CHG
vs Lefty 4, Poise, Shuuto Spin (I love this ability)

Spring Training-

vs Clevland 1 IP, 3 K
vs Mets 3 1/3 IP, 5 K, 1 H
vs Atlanta 3 IP, 4 K
Starter @ St. Louis 3 IP, 2 K, 2 H.

Since I was such money, I was selected to be on the roster for opening day! (Because if I didn't make it ... seriously.) Oh yeah and by the way, we lost all 4 games. YAY.

Season

April-
I was called from the bullpen, to the roar of applause from the packed crowd, stuffed into the newly built Nationals Stadium. I pitched bad. Ratching 2 K then I gave up my first hit, a HR. Curse you Matt Diaz! 3 IP (Relief), 2 H, 5 K, 1 HR. Not Good at all. The next five starts were really bad, our starters seemed to get out in the 2nd or 3rd inning. I came on against the Phillies, relief again :( . Only to pitch 1.2 innings. I also got 2 K. No Earned. Turns out, the manager loved it and now I am a starter!   My First Major leauge start came against the Marlins, I pitched very risky baseball. Aiming for corners and trying to make my CHG drop off the table. All of a sudden, Dan EWgla jacks a huge home run on a CHG that floated right onto his bat. 6 IP, 5 H, 9 K, 1 HR. But I got the W. My First W, a stat that is going to be difficult to come by this season. My second start was against the Braves. I was money in the bank; 6 IP, 1 H, 11 K, 1 BB. Mia came over for an interview asking how it felt to start the season 2-0, I was about to give her a good Headline when she rushed away. Probably mistook me for a fielder again, Jerk. I'm currently tied for fourth with John Smoltz in the Strikeout race. I was also named player of the week, for having 2 W, .75 ERA, and 20 K. We play Florida again, who is leading the NL East because of its studly hitting. I pitch a 4 Hit gem of a Complete game. With 14 K!!!! Scouts are calling me a young U. Jimenez with 5 star potential. I don't care about the team. I care about the stats. Sadly I couldn't reclaim POTW because Freel batted .462 with 5 HR and 10 RBI. Go figure. Today I am playing against the Mets, Johan Santana is the rival pitcher. I was heading for a complete game shutout, when our stupid Manager took me out to put in Cordero. I had 16 K and 2 H for 8 1/3 IP. Oh and by the way, Cordero blew the save. My care for the team dropped even more, didn't I mention that I hate this team! I wouldn't mind getting traded. We play at home against the Braves, I struck out the first 3 batters with only 9 Pitches. :!: Some sort of feat, from what I hear. John Smoltz got the first Hit. So when he was up 2 or so Innings later I hit him with a CHCB. It turned into my one of my worst outings of the year, 7 1/3 IP, 4 H, 12 K, 1 Unearned piece of sh :!: t Wild Pitch which led to the only run of the game. But other than that it was a good month for me.

Rookie of the month, 36.1 consecutive No-Runs, 3rd in IP with 41.1, 1st in K with 69 K, 2nd in ERA, 3rd in GO/AO, 1st K/BB, 2nd in QS.
Our team, however, 12-16, 4th in NL East, 10th in NL, 20th in Majors.

Point of Interest: The Reds are 29-0 only allowing 18 Runs while putting out 196 runs! As a team they have 54 HR, 40 SB, and 312 H. They also pitched back to back Perfect games. Wow.

Notes: I capitalize a lot of stuff. It comes from taking German.
I like Stats.
K=SO, not Strike.
Shuuto was attained in Success mode when Marvin asked if I wanted to go to a game, where I stood still predicting the spin of the ball.

Even though Shuuto Spin is a red ability, I like it.

I never tried Shuuto Spin before...

I like Hot Head and I consider it to be a Neutral Ability.

I hate Poker Face and consider it to be a Red Ability.

Shuuto Spin lowers top speed available, and gives batters a boost to contact spot.

Hot Head worsens control and sucks up stamina after giving up walks/hits/runs.

Poker Face hides the ability to see when the pitcher is tired, forcing you to use a fixed pitch count or watch the slow decline in control (easy to see in expert... when the accuracy indicator starts moving quickly).

My intimidator, and Dr. K is starting to go up. I'll also try to to a month or so, 5 games, a night. They don't take that long and I just write my rough draft on a notebook. Do you like the log so far?

I didn't know that it used up more stamina...

Well at least the breaking balls still break and the pitches don't slow down.
