I just got engaged to Emily in year 1! But the proposal was different this time than on my other player who married Emma.

This time, I asked her out to dinner prepared to propose, but proposal wasn't an option afterward. She asked if I had a game that night and said she would come, but this was different. She said if I performed really well, I could ask her anything and if I didn't perform well, I had to pay for dinner. So I went 4-5 in the game, and I won the bet. She asked if there was anything I wanted to ask her, and my two options was "propose" and "ask her to dinner", I proposed and she said yes.
