My guy is in his first year in My Life mode and he is batting .460 with 56 Hrs, 108 Rbis, and 18 SB. I am in the month of August at the moment. I only get 1 or 2 at bats a game because during the 6th or 7th inning they replace me for D. Lee (I'm on the Cubs). What can I do to stay in the game?

Your fielding stats are probably bad and you'll get replaced because of defensive purposes. Let me guess, you're playing 1st base and it's not your natural position? That's what happened to me and I only get 1-3 AB's per game because my fielding stats suck. Practice fielding a ton and wait probably 2 years and you'll be starting, unfortunitely it's not possible to raise it any faster really.

Yeah, I'm playing 1st base. My main position is Catcher. My Fielding is 10 (C) and my E Res is 15 (MAX)

Well, you're probably a G at 1st base(meaning it's not one of your second positions), so you're not going to stay in the game because that decreses your fielding ability while playing there. Once you get to be the starting catcher you'll most likely stay in the whole game. Now, I'm not sure how you get to be the starting catcher though.

I've only had 4 at bats once this season (thats when I hit for the cycle). I'm lucky if I get 3 at bats.

When I called the Coach to ask him to change my role the only options were Leadoff hitter and Clean up hitter so there is no option to be the starting catcher.

I just got 12 Fielding (B) and D. Lee still replaces me towards the end of the game :x

Like I said, it's because you're a G rating(worst) at first base so your fielding stats are horrible while you're playing first base, but when you start at catcher you'll get to stay in the whole game.

Edit: It does make me mad though that they always replace me, so I want to go to the AL because I'm basically a DH either way so I'd rather get more AB's and be at the DH position instead of 1st base(which doesn't matter because we don't field).

I had the opposite happen to me- my position is SS, but they would always start me at catcher, then in the 5-6th put in suzuki to play catcher and swap me for crosby at short. I wasnt getting taken out though most of the time, only position switched to my regular spot in late innings to improve team defense.

That all stopped when I forced the issue by tearing it up at the plate before the trade deadline, and caused the team to trade crosby for ausmus, so we finally had a decent catcher and I could play my normal position.

The funny thing is I earned gd catcher, and gd block from my catching days  more skills yeah!

Same deal is happening for me at 3B. I'm starting at catcher and most of the time I finish the game at 3B. I've filled up the Good Catcher bar twice but I've failed to learn it. I'm going on my third try now. That's the first time I seen a guy fail to learn something in My Life. I know it happens all the time in season. anyone else have this happen.
