Video games (dont remember the prices so I guess $100+) Action Adventure Sports Puzzle RPG Action adds to your contact but very very small amount RPG adds Rally hitter you have to play this a lot to fill up the Rally hitter bar. The other three don't do anything. Not sure why but they don't. |

Sparkplug15 wrote: Actually I think that the video games do differ in price. Yep, they do. Puzzle is $400, RPG is $500, and Action is $100. Anyone know when the items in the store change? Every paycheck (25th)? -Tom |

keep it up guys, I'll find a moment to compile this sometime... RL has tossed a girl into my life (woman = time x money) so I won't be as pervasive as I usually am here. |

I saw that there were no wiki pages for Darts and Video games under My Life -> Free Time -> Hobbies, so I created these pages with all of the information that I was able to gather. I'm rather new to wiki editing, so if the pages could be formatted better, by all means change it. It would be nice if we could agree on a standard format for each of the hobby pages (so that they all look pretty much the same), but that's just my $0.02 -Tom |

I have tough out so thats probably why I don't see that show up when I play those games. Action gives a slight add to contact |

how goes it, long time lurker, first time poster...I've been running a couple life modes for the last several months, and one of em is a [s]closer[/s] now starter. From what I've seen, pitchers undergo these effects: Video Games Action-small boost to control Adventure-reduces Hot Head (which is why it seemed like it had no effect) Sports-unknown Puzzle-small addition to Sandbag experience RPG-Safe Pitch Books Beginner Pitching Skills-small boost to top speed, control and stamina Intermediate Pitching Skills-slightly stronger boost than beginner Advanced Pitching Skills-noticeably stronger boost than intermediate, especially regarding control and stamina Baseball Biography-basically a more expensive Intermediate Pitch Skills book Breaking Ball Guide-small boost to all breaking pitches Hobbies Golfing-small control boost Darts-small control boost Fishing-small Gd Delivery boost (though occasionally, after your fishing skill improves to about a C, you might bring in a huge haul, and possibly a huge boost)...heh, I had my pitcher fish so often he should be the next Bill Dance And there are also a few pitcher-specific training items: Pitching Net-I think this one's just control, I'll check back later Pitching Machine-odd choice, in real life a batter would find this more useful, but this does dole out stamina and control boosts, so whatever Training Tube-boost to top speed Rubber Ball-basically looks like a smaller balance ball, you use this for a small boost to all your breaking pitches I figure yall figured this out already, but if you win MVP, the league gives you an ultra sleep capsule. if you win another MVP, and you still have the sleep capsule from the previous time, the league gives you a portable ultrasonic EX...and the other thing I figure is already common knowledge: if you use the real Mirror of Truth, you won't be able to buy another one, which screws me over as far as getting the password for my catcher but was pretty helpful when I simply wanted a sort of snapshot of my closer at 23 yo...basically the old save & reload) ***updated 3/4/09*** |
