Post subject: | Interaction with wife and kids |
Here's a topic about interaction with your wife and kids through your career. There's not much to say as it is very limited and I hate that. I skipped through my entire career to the very end, and this is what I learned. I married Emma and I have 5 kids. At the end of my career, my oldest kid was 15 years old. Correct me if any of this info is wrong if you married a different girl or got your kids older than mine. Wife: When you get married, the only way to interact with your wife is in "Chat", and here's the 3 options of things to say to her: 1. Ask her to rub your shoulders - Increase vitality (I think) and if you have a game that night, she will come watch you play 2. Ask her to clean your room - She will put the items in your inventory in order 3. Ask her about the budget - She will tell you how much you make every month, and how much you've spent for the month you're in. Children: After you have a kid, you don't get to interact with it at all. Nine months before the baby comes, your wife will tell you she's pregnant and tell you the exact date your baby is coming. When the baby comes, you rush to the hospital, your wife says she's tired, and you name your baby. That's it, very dumb. As your child gets older, the picture next to his/her name changes, and here's the order: 1. Ages 1-3: Picture of baby (Boy and girl) 2. Ages 4-8: Picture of kid with beanie cap (Boy and girl) 3. Ages 9-16: Picture of boy with baseball cap (Boy)/Picture of girl with two pony tails (Girl) 4. Ages 17-: Picture of adult boy/girl And again, you don't get to interact with your kids AT ALL. When you have kids and your wife rubs your shoulders before a game, instead of coming alone, she will say they came as a family to watch you play. And if any of this is incorrect, please correct me. |

Yeah, I was going to try that. Justin Upton is the youngest player in the game at the start, he's 20. |

Try being some 40 year old that way he can play til he's 60 and his kids could be in the majors. |

I just found out, it doesn't matter how old your player is (I'm not totally sure), I think it only matters how old your wife is. If your wife is the youngest possible (19), you're kids will all be not even a year old. If you make her oldest possible, your kids can be up to 8 years old. I'm going to start a career with one of my favorite players, Matt Holliday, with a son and daughter who's 8 and a wife who's about his age at 27. |

Try jamie moyer since he's the oldest MLB player and he's married with 7 children. |

Pedro Martinez is 36 I believe. I don't know anyone who is 40 years old. |

Well, my oldest son and daughter are now 16 on my career with Matt Holliday. I'm not taking this career seriously, it's just a little test. Well, at 16 the picture is still the same and I still can't talk to them. I'm thinking it might change at 18, I hope. |
