last night I finished my first season as a Shortstop on the Red Sox. I was elected into the All Star game, finished HONESTLY at about .500 92 home runs and 290 something RBI's then won the world series and the world series MVP. I also got a bunch of other awards like the Hank Aaron award, the Most homeruns, most RBIs most hits (I don't know if this affect anything) then I had to chose between 3 agents (Matthew, Jacob and Daryl) everyones said the one at the all star game (Jacob) is the best but i chose him and i got 600k and he would renegotiate. I didn't think that was special so i chose daryl because he came to me randomly and Oakley said that was the best agent if your with him it means your a "real player" so i chose him and first try i got 1,107,000 so i renegotiate 3 times and now my 2nd year salary is 2,590,000! hahaha

so anyways thanks for reading my novel, i was just wondering if anyones recieved better on their 2nd year and with which agent?

I got way better numbers than you. My honest playing CF for Yankees finished the first year hitting .541 with 178 HRs, 380+ RBIs, 48 SB. Got AS MVP, WS MVP, every batting title, lead the league in steals, and I got a measly 1,017,000 for 2009. Sigh.

use daryl, he will negotiate at least 4 times for a better contract, he gave me at first 1,117,000 then second time 1,400,000 then third time 1,600,000 then last time it was 2,500,000

I got 937,000 with Matthew since he was the only agent I had met.

When I used Daryl, I got like 690k, 780k, 1 mil, 950k. With Matthew it was like 1 mil, 900k, 800k, 700k.

how many stars did u have for darryl?

my 3 star darryl got me 1.8M for 2nd yr

i had 5 for jacob and he gave me 600k HA!

darryl is waaaaaay better than jacob. trust me.

I hit about .420, had 12 homers and 97 RBI's and 51 SB's and won the Batting title and rookie of the year. Still pretty good numbers. Then Matthew gets me only $800,500. I guess that's not too bad though. It's enough cash.

Hey guys, try raising up the level a few notches, eh? On expert I hit .068 in the first few weeks. I then gave novice a try and hit .600 and will soon go back to expert when I get back home. You don't need to raise it all to powerful and start on expert, but a little harder isn't too much, eh?

So not real special in terms of abilities, I didn't use a Success player but just started a guy from scratch.

I started in AAA, got called up in mid-April. Didn't start playing regularly until first of May. I won Rookie of the Year and the batting title, but didn't hit any homers or steal any bases. Won one player of the month award.

I only had Matthew and Michael available. I think I might have had 2 stars with Matthew and 1/2 star with Michael since I just met him. I didn't do much experimenting with reloading, but ended up with $800K from Matthew on the 2nd or 3rd offer (tried Michael once and it was something like $500K intially then went down).

I didn't save/load the first time I renewed my contract. I kept on asking to renegotiate and at the end my new salary was 2% lower than my rookie contract. I learned from that mistake.
