What's your longest extra inning game in my life? I just played a 19 inning marathon against the Dodgers. |

a simmed game went into like the 20-somethingth inning before I hit I got mad and ended it with a walk off by Pedroia once I played 14 innings, not too long, but grueling, every other at bat a guy hit the top of the green monster |

(In MLB Life) I just played a 20 inning game with no winner, a few 16-18 inning games, and in total almost twenty extra inning games yesterday. (In MLB Life) |

20 innings is the limit. Then, it's a tie. It would be funny (not for the player) to see what happens when it is nearing the end of the season and they are down by 1 game and has 3 ties. |

lanceberkman wrote: There would be make up games right? ![]() I don't know. There's no such thing as ties (outside of badly called All Star games) in MLB. |

But in the game since ties are possible I think I remember someone saying they had a make-up game the day after a tie. Maybe a tie causes a doubleheader! |

After 20 innings it brings you right to a new game with the next people in the rotation, so I assume it would be a make-up instead of your free-time the next day? |

It basically becomes a do-over. However, all that vitality used in the first game is toast. You still get your nighttime event. |

I don't believe so... i went 4-4 in my first game, 1-4 in the second. I only got credit for 1 hit. |

That's weird. I was actually thinking about posting a thread about this same topic. Anyway, I've won a 17 inning game against the Blue Jays and a 16 inning game against the Padres. I don't think the length of the game extends past 5:59 as both of my games lasted that long. |

I just had this happen (20 inn tie in my life) and it wiped out a 1 for 8 so I was quite pleased. Interesting was that I ended up batting in a different spot in the order in the make-up game. |
