yup. you can also use him in season mode and exhibition

Make sure you buy the 500k one not the 50k.

What's the difference between the two?
By the way, if you want to cheat and not pay the money while getting the player for the season, just save right before you buy the mirror. That way you can save several times.

Well the 50k one doesn't work and the fake one is gold, real one is silver.
