I signed a contract with the Mariners, 390,000 a year.
Spring Training
Spring training started out strong, but I choked on the last game, so I'm starting in AAA....
April 2008
I was called up hitting .600 with 11 homers in AAA on the 14th!
Pinch hitting mostly...
May-June 2008
The mariners finally gave me a chance to start, as their DH...well it's better than their previous DH..
Hitting .500!
July 2008
I wasn't voted in the all-star game by the fans, the coaches had some sense and got me in though.
Unfortunately I was on the bench. Got a hit though. American League lost.
August 2008
The team slumped here. We went from wild card to last place failure. Not cool.
September 2008
We closed our year with a 3rd place finish...
I managed to win Rookie of the Year award and Hitter of the Year (DH)
No post season stuff....
