I met michael(agent) last night, does anyone know if he's any good? I don't remember if he was mentioned in this topic or not.

So, it seems my character has taken over the starting position at 1st base, and Dunn has taken over in LF. So, that leaves Soriano and Derek Lee on the bench, those are some highly paid bench players. I've started every game but about 1 in the first 11 games. My stats:

.269 avg
1 HR
5 RBI
1 SB

I got off to a good start the first couple games, then I went through a mini slump where my average went down to .200, and I thought I would lose my starting spot to Lee, but then I picked it up again and hit my first HR and got some clutch hits. That HR I hit was while Emily decided to come to the game, so it was good timing. It's my job to lose at first ase and I hope I can keep it.

Okay, I hope someone else has usd him, he's younger than the other two I met(Matthew and Joshua) but I'm not sure if it matters at all, he looks like he might be pretty good but I guess I'll have to wait and see.

So I may very well be addicted to mylife mode. I'm in the middle of May now and for some reason have basically taken over 1B duties for Ryan Howard (instead of Pedro Feliz). I'm batting like .486 with 21 HR and 49 RBI. I need to up the difficulty! But I'm having a lot of fun.

Anybody else feel their team is way too moody? One loss after a 7 game win streak and everyone is all QQ.

YES! I hate that. My team was on an 8 game winning streak, we lost one very close road game, and all of a sudden it dropped to 3/4 on the meter.

Also, I wonder if I'm playing 1B because I'm producing better than Howard but I'm not as good of a fielder as Feliz?

Soooooooooo..... How do you get runners to run the bases? I hit deep doubles and they stand there at second like bumps on a log

Press Y and the base, X advances all. It's in the manual.

2nd year batted .310 37HR and 87RBIs, went from 870k to 750k. Every negotiation lowered the offer from the initial 900k. Went to the world series all the way to game 7 too as the wild card team on expert too.

DS- remember that you must select MANUAL base running in the options.

Also, beware, if your at 1st and another runner is at 3rd, you control BOTH!

Wow! Well I had a turn around real fast this(2nd) season my stats are:
.365
5 HR
18 RBI
2 SB

That's through 44 games, I don't expect to keep this up but I'm enjoying it while it lasts. My(Cubs) team is 25-19. It's a huge turn around because at one point this year I was hitting around the mendoza line and then I caught on fire and haven't looked back since. I earned the starting 1B position and have started almost every game except a couple when I was in a horrible slump. I'm absolutely clutch with RISP, I'm hitting .533(8-15). This is on expert difficulty with normal batting.

Edit: I forgot to mention I've been batting in the 5th spot for a while since I started to heat up, so I'm the protection for Dunn. I like it because I can get up to 3 AB's per game, because when I would bat 8th I would only get 2 AB's per game because they always replace me at first with Derek Lee for defense late in games.
